I think I’m also going to start the 21 day fix. I want to do the 80 day obsession but I usually only have 30 minutes to work out, if I can at all. Do you mind if we combine into an Autumn Calabrese workout thread?

I found some knock-off containers at Kohls so now I only need sliders and I will be all set in that regard.

For my pre workout snack I mashed up avocado with a little bit of goat cheese, spread it on toasted Ezekiel bread with lemon juice and pepper and a little bit of hemp seeds. Paired it with a side of sauteed spinach and coconut water. It was quite tasty.

I found all of the information to be a bit overwhelming. I will admit that I didn't really have time this weekend to prepare because life was crazy, so I am feeling like I have to play catch-up a bit. I just printed everything out and kind of skimmed over everything. I used the containers to pack my lunch/snacks and I think I actually like them (I was on the fence about buying them). My biggest weakness BY FAR is sugar, and I have to say, that today I am doing okay.

Workout One is in the books. I liked the structure of the work out and I really liked the way the bands add another dimension to the moves. Unfortunately, while I was working out, C got into the coffee and ATE SOME OF IT.
But whatever. Workout one is done!

I thought day 1 of the 21 day fix was hard. I'm really feeling it. I'm kind of glad I started out with a shorter one.

I'm doing 80 day obsession alternating with the treadmill so it will take me through the end of the year. I started last week but only did one day because I had two days of running, one kickboxing class and 1 rest day before my 5k on Saturday). Sunday was a rest day and today was running so tomorrow I'm doing day 2 haha.
I'm on vacation and I brought my sliders and bands and I'm hoping the hotel gym has a decent set of weights.

Day 1 complete. The bands I got suck so I am thinking about ordering the bands they are using if I am going to be in this for the long haul. I had to modify some moves (planks and pushups) since I am still rehabbing my right pectoral. I did tricep dips off my bench instead of the tricep push-up. I also didn't have any sugar today!!! Go me!!

I’m glad it’s not just me! I thought I must be very out of shape but then I was describing it to my BIL who was a personal trainer and he said it was intense.

I ordered the bands and sliders from Amazon like the sheep that I am. I think tomorrow I might skip ahead and do legs since that workout only requires hand weights.

I could stand to lose some fat, but really I'm in this to build muscle.

Raise your hand if you're sore today. I'm not as sore as I feared I might be (hello 30 tricep pushups) but I know leg day will do me in and I'm already planning a soak in some epsom salts after the workout.

I'm still doing P90X+, in my last month. I think I'm going to do another round of P90X when I'm done. I wasn't impressed with +. Eventually I want to buy P90X2, and I have Body Beast coming up in a few months too. I love Beachbody programs.

I looked at her meal timing plan and laughed. I'd need to get up an 4am or stay up until midnight to follow the timing.
I need to be out of the house at 7:30 am and I can't do this until the kids go to bed after 8pm.
I might look at the plan and just try to restrict my calories. I'm not buying the containers, I'll just use a kitchen scale I already own.

The important thing here is that you are eating the right combination of macronutrients, and eating small meals every 2-3 hours to keep your metabolism fired. I don't have all the time in the world either. Yesterday I had a protein shake, some cantaloupe, and 12 almonds at 4:20pm,and started my workout at 4:50. It's fine. You don't need to be that exact.

I'm literally so sore I can't even function. I can't walk up and down the stairs, I can't clean my house, I have no clue how I'm going to do laundry. I think I need to do an easier one than the 21 day fix. Unless you guys think it'll get better in a day or two. I can't sacrifice the cleanliness of my house, lol.
Eta. I have a foam roller and that has helped a little, but not enough
