Since I've been on vacation, I've been having a lot of milk (for cereal) and cream, and I can definitely tell the difference. Besides me having a lot more gas than usual, F is spitting up more and has a touch of diarrhea. 100% staying with my nut milk.

DD has been inconsolable today while awake. Every time I try and nurse her, she screams at the boob and then either needs to be held or in her bouncer (with me bouncing it) or she will only sleep for like 20 min. It’s been a long day already and DD1 has gymnastics at 4 and then we have open house for her pre-k after-send help!

Shit is completely falling apart over here the last few weeks. DS is on alimentum and we are starting Zantac today after a trip to the ped this morning. Evenings are awful and nights are starting to get rough. I’m feeling a bit blindsided and robbed of my happy easy baby. Hopefully we get things sorted out soon. He’s actually really happy until he’s just not.

We're going to give zantac a try as well, we got the prescription today. His Dr doesn't really seem to think it's reflux, but said we could give it a try for a couple of weeks and see if it cuts down on the frequent wake ups. She mostly thinks it's probably a gas thing and better burping would help.

Got to the airport to fly home and turns out that on top of my email auto deleting my booking reference, my flight is now cancelled. Also, there's no person to rebook you, you have to wait in line to get on a phone and rebook that way. Also, MH is super mad at me over this for some reason. On the positives, F is great and my brother is staying with me until we get this sorted.

And now I'm stuck here another night. At least I have somewhere to go and I'm not stuck at the airport

I’m sorry for all the reflux babies. I’m right there with you. Actually going to pediatrician on Wednesday to discuss E’s reflux. She’s been on Zantac for about 3 weeks now and she has OK days and then not ok days. I’m going to ask about a PPI. Her bottle issue can also be hindered by pain AKA reflux so I’d really like to find whatever will work best for her.

L's tooth is taking its sweet time to fully erupt, and he has been MISERABLE. It's still better than most of V's best days as an infant, so I'm trying to keep perspective. He's just so uncomfortable and too young to really help himself aside from chewing on his hand. He doesn't have the dexterity yet to hold chew toys like V did when he got teeth at 7 months, and the kid will not keep a pacifier in. I don't even think it's that he dislikes it, he just lets it fall out and then smiles at me. He's a champion nurser and has been from day one, so I can't figure out the disconnect.

I should see if I can find the Munch Mitt I bought for V way back when. He hated it, which means L will probably like it.

DH went on HomeAdvisor yesterday to find someone to come out and give us a quote on removing some trees in our backyard. He got a call from someone yesterday and set up an appt for this weekend. I was sitting on the couch nursing DD when the doorbell rang (3 times) followed immediately by someone knocking. I figured it was UPS or someone dropping off a package until I hear the doorbell ring again a few min later. I get up to see someone in our backyard messing with our dogs. The guy said he was here to give us a quote on removing our trees. Freaked me out so bad I told the guy that we weren’t having anyone come out till this weekend and to get the hell out of my yard. I never opened the door when he rang/knocked, why did he assume he could just walk into my fenced in backyard? Took the guy like 10 min to leave my driveway and I’ve been up looking out my front windows all morning making sure no one comes back.

Make that me 3. F has awful gas and he's going between fussiness and crying hysterically. I'm on day 2 of no milk again, so hopefully another day or 2 and he'll feel better.

DH is out of town so naturally the toddler and baby are ganging up on me where one of them is awake at just about any given moment. So sleepy 😴

F and I got home late last night. Good news is that he didn't care at all about the flight. We were the 2nd people on and sat in the front, so he just watched everyone go by, smiling and getting smiled at, and then conked out. He'd wake up for a minute, let out one little whine, and then fall back asleep. Our nurse was here this morning, and while he's still off of the curve, he's following it so she's not super concerned :-)

I'm taking DS to work today to show off to my co-workers and have someone to pawn him off on for a bit😉
I am thinking of getting lunch before I go, but being dairy free sort of cramps my eating out style.

I’ve been pretty impressed with feeling ok despite broken sleep since W was born. Not too many stupid sleep deprived moments... until today!!! Went to Target for random things we need. Remembered all the items on my mental list, used a self-service check out and scanned them, paid for them, got my receipt and left. Without any of the items. I got back to my car, loaded W’s capsule into the car, opened the trunk and went to load my items. I didn’t even realize they were missing until then! Thankfully the store had put them aside and I quickly got them and ran back to the car very embarrassed!

Ugh! I think my period has come back already. (I’m spotting) 😡 DD is only 7 weeks and I’m breastfeeding. I thought I would at least make it to when I went back to work at 12 weeks.

We made an offer on a house yesterday. It was accepted this morning!!
We're planning to settle and move mid-October. You know, two weeks after I go back to work.
