We are on our way home from the fair. It was a lot of fun and I’m exhausted.
. I don’t think I’ve mentioned my brother too much but he had a breakdown years ago and it tore our family apart. He’s having issues again and my parents are having a really hard time. I’m trying to be there for them but not give all of myself this time because I became their counselor last time this happened and I just can’t again. So my mom is away with her sisters and my dad is bored and upset so I’m taking him to dinner tonight.

The morning was super productive; cleaning, laundry and most of the food prep done, I just have to make keto bagels later.
MH took B to the driving range and I wanted to eat everything in the pantry but I brushed my teeth, grabbed my water and am now sitting outside. Away from the pantry.

I know this has been asked a million times, but favorite washer and dryer? I want a top loader that don't need a bunch of bells and whistles, but good quality. The dryer we have now sucks and takes forever to actually dry our clothes. #neversamsung |

Sorry about your brother wedding. It's hard to put up boundaries with parents but self care if important. I hope your dinner is nice with your dad. Also, Happy anniversary! |

DH came back in a lot better mood. I got a lot of work done while the boys napped.

Thanks guys. Dinner was good. I can tell my dad is in rough shape emotionally but he wasn’t in a place to talk about it so we just talked about everything else under the sun and had a nice time. It was good for us to talk about other things.
I am feeling a lot of anger towards my brother for doing this to us again. I need to get over it and support him but it’s hard.
