Taking my fat lazy cat to get groomed. I'm going to have to start rolling him like an old person, he gets knotted on his belly because all he does is lay lol. And he's not a great self groomer.
Other than that, working and making 60 fondant flowers.

Morning! I'm also super glad it's Friday! And payday! These damn vet bills made my checking account go negative...I should have checked it and transferred money, but was preoccupied so the bank charged us stupid fees to move the money from savings, which pisses me off. It's not like someone is sitting there manually tranferring the funds, pretty sure the computer takes care of it, but whatever, it's my fault. We have no plans this weekend, so I'll probably start preparing to leave for vacation next Thursday, get groceries, start packing bags, etc. How's Martha this morning klong11? |

Last night was...fun. By the time we got checked into the hotel it was close to 9; the kids were wired and didn’t end up falling asleep til past 11. 🤪 Considering they are normally asleep by 7:30, it was not delightful. Both my H and I woke up on the early hours and couldn’t get back to sleep so at 5:20 we were like, should we just get up and go? So we were on the road before 6. On the upside, we should be at my parents’ by 2 or so.

Good morning! Today will be spent doing laundry, cleaning and packing. I’m going to drop the girls off at my ILs around 5 and then as soon as DH gets home from work and showered we’re hitting the road for our adult only vacay. We’re going to a lake nearby with 4 other couples. It should be super fun.

Morning! I'm home with Chase waiting for his appointment. He's in great spirits so it's kinda nice. DH is going to watch him this afternoon so I can call into a few meetings.
One of my best friends is coming this evening to stay over and drive to RI with me tomorrow. I'm so excited!!

M woke me up at 1:30 because she peed in the bed. Well, she peed a little, woke herself up and came to get me. Then finished peeing in the bathroom. Then she wanted me to lay with her until she fell asleep.
I'm tired.

Right near me, flamingo. I'm going road tripping today but only to bring my nieces to their uncles who they'll be staying with for the next few days. I really will miss them-- they're such good kids and just amazing with my littles. And we got out for date night two days in a row. |

Sitting in the freezing vet's office. Our appointment is done, but they won't let me in the waiting room to check out since Martha was sneezing. It has taken so long that the cat is now asleep. I just want to pay the bill and go!!! They gave us ointment for her eyes and amox for the infection. Hoping it finally kicks this crap. On a positive note she's gained a pound.  |

An abbreviated girls'weekend. One of my best friend's cousins lives in Providence so we're crashing there. Totally random but my friends are all pretty broke so we didn't have many options. |

Had to take the car in for a service so i’m heading into work a bit late. They text me updates through the day about my car and even send a full video of the inspection.
I’ve got a lot of work to do today, so i’m hoping my motivation is sitting at my desk already, I’ll find out in a few minutes.

Can you get overdraft protection mwhip ? With that they will auto transfer if your account goes low. They auto transfer now, but every transfer they make, costs me $3. I usually know we are going to be short and move money before it happens. But with this week, $500 in vet bills, etc, I totally forgot to check it til last night. |

Morning! H is off today, so we are trying to plan our lives for the next few months. So many logistics with school starting soon. I'm not ready. He wants to do a backyard camp out tonight, so we are going to go get a new fire pit to roast marshmallows on. Our old one was crappy and fell apart, so he's hooking it up with a big iron one complete with a grill grate. Because, you know, one can never have enough outdoor surfaces to grill on  |

I wish the lunar eclipse was viewable here. It was so bright last night. I strolled in a half hour late and was still the first one here. This is why I don't mind working Friday although I would much rather win the lottery.
Maddie was really proud of herself last night because at her belt test she was the only kid to break 2 boards. Cass was a very good sport and moved past her initial disappointment in not being allowed to test and cheered Maddie on. She's such a sweetheart.
