A tattoo thread

What do you all have? Do you want more? What would you want and where?

I have a dragon fly on my hip and my new elephant on my forearm. My mom and I are getting rosemary together on our upper arm. It stands for remembrance, loyalty and love. And I want a tree with birds representing all my kids on my rib cage. But not until after the last baby is born.

I have a dolphin on my ass. Well, above my ass next to my hip bone. I had to get it some place you couldn’t see it in a costume. I was 17.

I will not get anymore and sort of wish I hadn’t gotten this one.

Same except I have a Chinese character on my foot. It means simplicity. I did all the research and made sure it was the right character, but I still had someone look at it once and say, "oh, vegetable!"

I have a shamrock (not a 4 leaf clover) on my right hip with a 3 letter acronym - the same 3 letters that 5 or 6 of my friends also have on their own tattoos (all unique images and placements). We got them 14 years ago on a girls' weekend.

I have a pinterest board dedicated to ideas. I want a small Celtic tree of life on the back of my neck just below my hairline, that's probably my next one. I also want an infinity knot with the boys' names worked into it, maybe on my rib cage. And a winged foot (probably on my foot or ankle) or something similar to represent running since it's probably my longest love, LOL. I suppose any of those could turn out to be the next "tramp stamp" type of trend, who knows?

Girls' weekend is this weekend, so I guess we'll see what happens. LOL.

I have what I call my “not so tramp stamp”. I got it on my 18th birthday and because I was too chicken to pull my pants down more it is kind of mid back vs lower. It is a flower with a butterfly. I am not and never have been a flower/butterfly person. There’s also weird bubbles on the flower I didn’t notice in the sketch. I never see it so it’s a story more than anything. I wanted to get it covered years ago but didn’t want to spend the money. Now it seems pointless.

I will not get anymore. With my sensitive skin and propensity for weird medical ailments, it seems like a poor choice.

I have a poor little blurry faerie on my hip-ish area. She was cute before I got pregnant and stretched her out.

Oh, and I am getting more. I'm getting a weeping willow water color tattoo with "love you many many" incorporated into it. Then I'm getting a Winnie the Pooh inspired one for Cadence, probably Pooh with a balloon floating with bees.

I have 2, and will not get any more. The first was my sister’s 18th birthday gift to me. It’s tiny, smaller than a dime.

My second one is on the back of my neck closer to my right ear. My 2 friend’s got the same design but different colors on the “sparkles” and different placement. I can’t take a pic of it right now so here’s one from when it was first done. I’m guessing it’s getting blurry now too since I got it in 2007.

I've been thinking about having SD design one for me but not sure where it would go. I want a brain made of waves. The only thing is that I'm not 100% that I will go through with it and I don't want to offend her but also don't want a bad tattoo. I think I might ask for her to do some artwork for my office and if I like it make it into a tattoo.
