Let's try to make this happen! From the most recent comments, it sounds like more people would be able to make it in Spring (which is kind of cool since that will be SIX! years that some of us have "known" each other).

So if we do Spring, do we still like Chicago or is there another spot that's preferred? Denver was the runner-up last time but IIRC there were mentions of Austin and New Orleans, too.

Chicago and Denver seemed good because they were a reasonable distance for most everyone to travel.

Adding a poll and we can go from there. Feel free to Tag anyone else who might not be here often enough to see but would still have interest in joining us.

I voted Denver because low humidity LOL. But I'm also willing to go anywhere the poll takes us.

Chicago is cheapest for me so that was my choice. I also love it there. I wouldn’t be opposed to Denver. Austin is expensive and a long trip for me so that is a harder sell.

Location doesn't much matter to me. Spring is really tough for me with the marathon in mid-April, my work conference in late May, and possibly my surgery (still learning towards doing it) somewhere in between. But I would love to make it happen!!

Maybe we could do mid-late March? It won't be too cold/snowy or too hot yet no matter where we go, right?

I don’t have a location preference but Chicago is pretty dang cold in March. Denver definitely has much warmer days then.

If I am able to go somewhere I’d much rather go somewhere warm/south that time of the year. Maybe Nashville or vegas

Yeah, I don't really care to go somewhere cold in the early spring. We have enough of that nonsense here.

Otherwise, I'm down for whatever; we have a family reunion, probably in May, but otherwise spring shouldn't be too crazy so I think I could make it work. Nashville is a nice suggestion trtlcrzy.

I did not vote, but I really want this to happen. I'm obviously in for Chicago and I love Nashville so either of those is doable. I will likely be still nursing Bea in the spring, so I think Vegas would be out for me...although I would love to get in on that action. If I go to Vegas it's going to be kid free! 💃🍾🤸🎉

Can't believe I never told you guys this one?

So LSS, we were staying there and one of Pete's friends got drunk and passed out. Security brought him up and as Pete is calmly asking for an explanation as to why SEVEN people are barging into our room, this giant of a man (seriously at least 6'6) grabs Pete in a chokehold and throws him onto the bed. I was scared, and without thinking, I jumped onto the bed and punched him in the face.

He looked at me like I was a bee that had stung him and they all kind of laughed because at the time I was tiny and I attacked that beast.

But, the three of us got a restraining order that prohibits us from ever returning to the property again. Pete's friend spent the night in the drunk tank.

I remember this story.  I still laugh thinking about you punching someone in the face.

What about Vegas the first weekend in April?

I remember that story cagoldi. You have some of the craziest travel experiences.

Spring would work for me. I work the first weekend of March (02-03) and the second weekend of April (13-14).

Easter is Apr 21 this year FYI.
