Hi. Also had troubles logging in today.

I have nothing to report but am also in an ill mood. The rainy weather is getting to me, I think. Can't wait to peace out of here on vacation on Thursday. DH will do the vast majority of the driving so I can just sit back and relax--relatively speaking, we still have two kids in the backseat!

FX Chase is feeling better tomorrow, joelies. Maybe it's just the heat getting to him? I think sometimes that's what is going on with X if he has an off day. I feel grouchy and nauseated when it's super humid so I am starting to assume he might, too.

Hello hello! I sent the big kids to my in-laws and just have A. We've done a ton of snuggling with some cleaning and laundry mixed in. Now I'm snuggling him more and having a glass of wine before everyone gets home.

Didn't learn anything at the vet except that Luna has a UTI. Her urine did not indicate diabetes, so they took blood and I'll hear back tomorrow. She weighed 26lbs in March and is down to 18lbs.

I’ll join the grumpy band wagon. MH said Sunday he was gonna cook, but i already had the crockpot going. Then yesterday i asked him if he wanted to cook dinner and he said he’ll cook Tuesday instead. So i had to quickly make the kids Mac and cheese. Now today i asked him if he was cooking and he was like, i have a work call so i don’t think I’ll have time.

I just hate how the onus is always on me to make sure our kids are fed. He can just opt out whenever then I’m left scrambling.

H had great fun at camp this morning, meanwhile S & I went to the garden center and I got a really great deal on a juniper tree. Then home for lunch and to the pool following. I wanted to see what would happen if S skipped nap because she’s being such a pain about falling asleep and it was an epic fail. Super duper crabby the last 1/2 hour we were at the pool. Now I’m waiting for DH to come home with pizza and the I’m going to work after I eat.

The concert we were supposed to meet my friends at was moved indoors. So we just had a picnic dinner by the playground and then the kids played until way too late. Colin seemed to have a blast and that park is super nice, and just one town over. Definitely going back! Chase stayed home with DH to be safe but he's fine. I do think it may have been the heat, since he was playing outside shortly before going downhill.

I didn’t when they were itty bitty and not moving much at all. Once they started getting stronger I buckled them.

I've never buckled P because the seat is so deep there's no chance of her getting out of there when she's still so tiny. I will once she can hold her head up better and is big enough to pull up out of there.

Also hi! We had a busy day. C’s dr app went great. She’s 27 inches and 17 lbs 7 ozs. We got the go ahead to start introducing food so we will probably do that this weekend. Goodby relatively non-stinky breast milk diapers. We also got the go ahead for sunscreen which is a big deal in AZ.

Remember how at her four month app the dr mentioned she crossed her legs at the ankle and I googled it and freaked out. She officially has zero worries and said she regretted even causally mentioning it and freaking me out.

Anyway, then the boys had swim lessons and we met my parents for a late lunch.

Hi, checking late today. My MIL and I stayed up chatting until 1:30 am last night! Then Bea woke up at 1:45 to eat and H comes in from hockey at 2 and kept me up. I was def dragging ass today, so we all took a nap this afternoon, even my 6 y/o. I hoped he was just worn out from all the partying since he doesn't ever nap, but nope...he barfed. He and all the babies are currently sleeping, so H and I are eating leftover ice cream cake and watching Succession. FX the barf episode was short lived and does not continue into the night (or spread), I need my sleep tonight!

I didn’t until my girls were a little older and trying to roll over in the rnp, and of course I didn’t buckle S in when she was swaddled.

chrisy01, what everyone else said about the RNP. No buckle until starting to roll/pull self up. Same with the swing.

It was my battery -- quick fix -- thank goodness. While he was checking some other things, he started talking to me about the wildlife in this area.
Long story short he told me that I should invest in both a hand gun and a shotgun because "what if I'm outside playing with the kids and we see a bear, and we can't run inside fast enough?" All I would have to do, according to him, is just one good shot gun shot and that would be taken care of.
There are so many things wrong with that scenario that I didn't even know where to start talking with him.
I have that face. That face that just says, talk to me I'll listen. It so annoying.
On a very separate note, the Mamma Mia sequel is so good, and I ugly cried through a large chunk of it. Like my neck and my shirt were wet from my tears.

OMG, can you imagine just always having a hand gun and a shot gun on you while playing with the kids outside!? Yikes. Not that I want you to get attacked by a bear either though, obviously...

ETA: I'm literally picturing you walking around your yard with guns strapped to you as you scour the trees for signs of bears while the kids happily play around you. It's kinda making me laugh.

A has this face too.. Strangers will come up to him in McDonalds and start spilling their life story. He should have been a therapist.
