What's going on today?

We're off to camp in a bit, then I'll probably take C for a trim--if I wait til we get back from our trip she'll be way past due.

I forgot to tell y'all last night, we heard from our property manager. They were inquiring if we had heard from the pool company, b/c they haven't been able to get ahold of anyone there.

Why yes, as a matter of fact, we have. They're delightful, and I have their CEO's personal phone number, and she and I are basically BFF's. How does it feel to have your calls and emails go unanswered? Karma's a bitch, huh?

DH wants to be mature and not be snarky (laaaame), although he is waiting a day or two to respond--just to make them sweat a bit--that yes, we have heard from them, and the homeowner has effectively cut the property manager out and will be dealing with the pool himself.

My check engine light came on and it shut off on me a bunch yesterday so I'm taking it in. Pray the boys are good... then idk what we'll do. I need to work later so I'm thinking the park and lunch then naps for them.

flamingo I'd be the same as you about the property manager. The contractor that we used on our flooring the beginning of May, called me and emailed me 3 weeks ago, asking if the work was complete, because they said I never signed that the job was finished (I did, I clearly remember it because it was 7:30 and me and my mom were packing up Evie's stuff for the carpet the next day). Since the work wasn't *technically* completed, H still needed to put the quarter round back in his bathroom, I have never confirmed. Which I'm pretty sure no one is getting paid for the job. H did finish the work Sunday, so I need to answer her email and get this all closed out.

I'm taking my dog to the vet this afternoon. She old, like 12 or 13, has lost 4-5 lbs in the last few weeks, and we are all aware of her inability to hold her urine. One of my friends mentioned she might be diabetic, so I'm going to go in and see what they say. I just hope it isn't really bad news. This dog has been with me through so much, which is why I have put off taking her in.

Teen niece number one just told me she spilled coffee on my cream colored couch a couple of hours ago. She just remembered. That won't be difficult to get out at all.

Morning! I'm currently pumping. E slept for about 5 hours last night. She woke up and had a massive poop. I'm so glad I put her in the huggie diaper versus the Honest diaper. I think the Honest diaper doesn't handle big poops well. No big plans today. I need to work on laundry and dishes.

I'm also looking or a hands free pumping bra. Any recommendations? I didn't use one last time but now I know I need one.

guster she seems better! No more boogies and she’s eating everything and being more playful. Still a bit of a cough, but it seems like she’s on the mend!

Good morning! I’m sitting on the back patio with Jello drinking my coffee. We have a busy day and I need to get moving. I HAVE to go to the gym today. I’m scared to get on the scale after 10 days of vacation. I’m really hoping all the walking we did helped a little. Then C has her six month checkup (😭) and then the boys have swim lessons.

guster I hope the coffee comes out! Would have been nice to hear about it earlier...thanks, teenagers FWIW, my mom swears by a stain remover called Folex for difficult carpet/upholstery stains. It got Pepto Bismol-laced vomit (thanks, B) out of her hallway runner recently when nothing else would.

I 2nd Folex. I use it on pretty much everything if I don't feel like getting the vinegar out. Plus it smells much better than vinegar. I used it in the carpet cleaner in the car after Evie's episode.

I’m in a crummy mood today. I had a bad nights sleep with lots of disturbing lucid dreams. Then today was Fast Pass booking day and the website and app were down with a 2+hour wait on the phone. I was finally able to get through but I’m a little annoyed I didn’t get some of my first picks. Then I’ve been in meetings all day and now I’m covering the front desk even though it’s really not my duty and I am starving. So I’m hangry and ready to throw a tantrum like a toddler.

Full of the complaints today. Teenager one left my car door open all night - no bugs, birds, rain, but the car won't start. Lights turn on and I can unlock the car with the remote so it might be the battery, but I'm not sure. Roadside assistance is on their way.
We were supposed to see mama Mia at 1:30, but now that's a wash. We're all disappointed, but the girls keep asking when we can go again, and I'm focused on what's wrong with my car and if that means time in the shop, etc.
eta: just the battery, thank goodness.
Movies at 4, it I don't want to go then (but I will)

I'm annoyed too. My phone has not stopped ringing all morning. I spent $114 on a scan of my car to find out it's a simple fix that A can do. 3 of our loads for today got cancelled so drivers are frustrated and I get it. But hello, not my fault. I used my parents amazon account to send a baby gift to a driver and only told my dad. My mom got the shipping notification and instead of calling ANYONE to check, she reported it as fraud, cancelled the order and cancelled her amazon card.. WTF.

FX this is the case.

The last time mine died, a jump wouldn't do because the battery was shot but the AAA driver had one on hand and replaced it for me (additional charge, of course, but nothing exorbitant).

E and I went to Costco for 3 things. We left with 4. I'm proud of myself. I'm working on laundry and E is chilling in the living room watching me fold. It's too hot outside to do anything that involves the outdoors.

Hi! I spent the day chaperoning a field trip and it was hot and humid and just gross. Colin said it was the worst bus ride ever and insisted on driving home with me. It was fine since Chase came home early for acting strange. No fever, he just wasn't himself. He threw up, napped, and is in great spirits. Sigh...
