I brought jello to the vet because she has some green boogers. Our appointment was at 9:20 and it’s now 10;10. And I have all the kids with me. I am not amused.

xolastunicornxo, probably kennel cough. We're still dealing with the kitty version on our end.

Home from errands and camp pick-up and now I need to start some laundry and packing in earnest. :grumble grumble grumble:
So one of our stops was JCrew...some earrings I've been eyeing were marked down overnight, and then they had an additional 50% off on sale merchandise. I remembered seeing them in the store recently so C and I stopped to get some. They rang up full price, and the sales lady was NOT delighted when I politely questioned the price. But she grumpily checked her little iPad and lo and behold, I was correct. Score...$13, including tax.

Random, but I haven't seen it mentioned/discussed here yet... Have y'all seen/heard about Gymboree's new efforts at "rebranding" themselves? I'm not really a fan of what I've seen of the "new" Gymboree so far, and from the comments I've read on FB, a lot of people aren't. Just curious what--if anything--y'all thought, or maybe I am the only looney toon around here pondering children's wear (<-- quite possible)

Found a cute dress but I'm not impressed. They are no longer going to make the shorts LO like. Not happy. The outlet mall I went to yesterday still has the old Gymboree clothes but didn't have the shorts in lo's size or bigger sizes.

Hey hey! Checking in from the pool. MIL is in the water with the kids while I "watch the baby" aka work on my tan.
The family dinner party last night was a blast. All four of my aunties (and thier families), my mom, my sister and my grandma where there. It's rare that they are all under on roof due to various fueds the sisters are usually in. I plied everyone with sangria and we watched/danced to #shiggychallenge fails together and everyone was friends again...at least for a few hours. I know how to bring the family together 😉

Hi!
Nothing exciting, just work today. I need to figure out what’s for dinner before the end of day. I’m in a cooking rut and don’t want to have to think about what to make. I have to stop at the store on the way home, so I need to come up with something.

Too cute! @xastunicornxo flamingo I’ll have to go check them out. I heard about the re-brand, but haven’t been on the site. I’ve been trying to stay away from kids shopping because that is where I do the most damage. I did go to the outlet when we were at the beach a few weeks ago and bought stuff, but it was more the original stuff from what I saw.

flamingo remind me which bag your SIL had that started looking ratty? I'm eyeing the TB Gemini link tote. Surprised to see it had no leather. Same one?

Good morning. Our party yesterday was a success even though it rained just as we were serving the food. Busy week here, DS has hockey camp from 8:30-4 everyday then his team practices Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. DD has soccer camp 9-12 everyday then gymnastics 6-9 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. BBM girls, did you see Brianna is pregnant? I did. I'm been doing her ab videos and want to start a 90 day challenge soon so I was on her facebook page. I’m up for starting another 90 days. Let me know which one/when you are starting and I will do it with you.

Hi. I’m at work for another half hour then picking up O at 3pm. Not sure what we’ll do today because it’s rainy.
I had a new babysitter come yesterday. She stayed for 2 hours but i only left the house for 40 min to go grocery shopping. She’s 15 I think and will be a sophomore in high school. Seems responsible. It’s one of my neighbor’s granddaughters. I’ll probably have her come a few times this week while i stay home and do other things so the kids can get used to her. Then Saturday is my 2 hour hair appointment so hopefully by then she’ll be good to go. Maybe we can even work up to a date night eventually. I’m excited.

I just finished labeling LO's boxes for his things in the living room. Im hoping he keeps them organized. I'm also trying some new foods today to help prevent me from eating dairy things. Currently trying a pressed bar from kind. Not bad but not want I was looking for.

I don't shop there for B much anymore but I (used to) like their stuff for C. I looked on their website over the weekend and there wasn't a single thing I'd part with money for. Everything was just very neutral and kind of boring. I'll be interested to see how it does. I remember they declared bankruptcy and closed a bunch of stores, and I've done countless surveys for them every time I order from them (and then wait 2 weeks for my stuff to be delivered...argh). I feel like they're going in such a different direction from what they were doing, that they're likely going to lose most of their old customer base. The question is, will they gain new shoppers, or are those people going to continue with their regular shopping spots.

I like my kids to look like children. This just seems kind of like what everyone else is doing (most of which I don't like, lol). Honestly, I'm running out of places to shop!

Like she posted a ton about how it was so hard because she's never had to really try before and had been trying for 4 months. I get that she had every right to be upset and struggling, it just read as dramatic and insensitive to me. 4 months is pretty average. It just made me kinda cringe thinking about people I know who have been trying for years for one baby.

I haven't struggled, but my sister-in-law struggled for 4 years to get pregnant with my nephew. And to be doing check-ins and live videos for support after just four months, seems a tad dramatic.

So, I took jello to a new vet, because it’s a family of a mom friend from Landon’s baseball team, and I like to support family run businesses. Well, first they told me to wait in the car when I got there and they’d come out and take us straight back to a room when we got there. Which I get,I’ve had to do that before at vets if they’re worried the pup is sick. But I got their 5 minutes before our appointment and. Called and they didn’t come out for half an hour! So I had all four kids and a puppy in the car in 110 degree heat. Granted we had the ac blaring but it’s still annoying. The. They take us back and I waited almost an 45 minutes for the dr. So the dr comes in and examines her, and here’s the convo: Vet: well, she has a fever and some discharge/congestion. Her chest sound clear though so we’re going to put her on antibiotics and see her in ten day, I think it’s an upper respiratory infection. Me: ok, Great, thank y..... Vet: unless of course it’s distemper. Then we can’t do anything and it’s 99% fatal and you’ll probably have to put her down. If she starts having seizures that’s how you’ll know. But hopefully it’s just a respiratory infection. See you ten days. Me: 😧😧😧😧 So now I’m all freaked out and pissed about the whole intersection and wait and just horrible bedside manner. wedding I’m tagging you since this is your area.

Hi! It’s been a busy day at work, just me and the boss here today. My coworker called in sick but only texted me and not our boss.... he was not pleased.
We had an unexpected Sunday funday with friends yesterday which was fun but not how I normally start a week so I feel off.
Heading to spin class after work. I’ve adjusted the kids daycare schedule so i can get to class once or twice a week since I have lost my motivation to workout at home.

xolastunicornxo WTF to that vet! I'm sure it's just a cold and she'll be good in a few days.
