Firefly is always the one that immediately comes to mind. I actually also really liked the show Tru Calling. I remember the season finale blowing me away and then the show never came back.

+1 to The Family. I really wanted to see how that played out!
MH and I were huge Southland fans. It ended abruptly and I hate that we'll never know what happened next.

I actually almost posted this same thread last night!
The Grinder Rookie Blue Community Popular - The writers were actually commissioned to write a cliffhanger and then it was canceled. Ryan Murphy later floated around what he would have done with season 3 and I am sort of glad they pulled it when they did. He always ruins shows after the second season. Jericho Off the Map Dead Like Me Terminator: Sarah Conner Chronicles Girl Meets World The Newsroom Cold Case Ascension Containment The Lottery

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip
I loved that show. Too bad it came out the same year as 30 Rock or maybe it would have lasted.

More current.. The Michael J. Fox show I ADORED this show! Also, we watched the Michael J Fox show before we ever watched Breaking Bad (we binged it during the wait for the final episodes), so Betsy Brandt was Annie to me, not Marie. I didn't replace her roles until she joined Life in Pieces, which is a perfect role for her.

Firefly. Obviously. Almost Human. I didn't watch it because it got cancelled so fast and we binge watch either DVDs or on a streaming service but I love Karl Urban and was really looking forward to it. Galavant. Getting a second season at all was a gift but I love that show and wish more people would have watched it. I really loved the sci fi show. I really really liked it. I need to stop watching sci fi/futuristic shows until they get a season 2, because they are always the ones on the chopping block.

I think I have fairly cheesy taste in TV shows so while I can see why some of these were cancelled I was still bummed. Human Target The Glades Timeless The Player Limitless... I'm sure I'll think of more later. Limitless was brilliant! I'm still pissed about its cancellation. Also, as people have said - Timeless cast took the lifeboat back in time and changed history again. It should return in the Spring or Summer of 2018. My DH and I both loved Brian, he just seemed like a genuinely likable character, so I'm hoping the actor finds more work because I'd watch him. I wasn't sure at first about the woman from Dexter (Jennifer something?) but they just worked together.

Those who did watch Almost Human is it worth watching even knowing it was cut short? I'd wanted to try it but I'm not into being left hanging.

Mine are semi- recent...
+1 to The Family- I loved that one
Breakout Kings- I loved prison break (okay, season 1) and this took a fun spin on that.
Touch- the boy who was autistic didn't speak but used numbers to help the world around him.

Also I'll add mine. I can't think of them all but here's the ones that come to mind: No ordinary family Forever The Grinder (okay I know this one was awful but Rob Lowe)
Heroes Reborn - I stopped watching the original but loved the reboot Switched at Birth Nonsense. It was nowhere near awful. It was perfect and meta and tongue in cheek and amazing.

It was cancelled after season one but, like Rockwell, the massive fan base sent something like 40,000 pounds of nuts to the studio and they gave it another year. They knew they were unlikely to be renewed for a third season, but wanted to add story in, just in case they were. It is interesting that the things I disliked about season 2 of Revolution were similar to what I disliked about Jericho. I didn't need them to go through all the political stuff and spreading out across the country. I was most interested in the people in the small town of Jericho and how they were surviving.

There was a show on watched on the Soap channel, I'm pretty sure it was Canadian, Being Erica. Anyone else know this show? I really liked it but I never got to see the final season.

I LOVED Being Erica! I think I've watched the complete series 3 times and I was just thinking yesterday I might watch it again. And yes it's Canadian, CBC show set in Toronto

I need to look around and figure out where I can watch it. It's always bothered me that I never got to finish it.

I liked the last season, it was a nice full circle wrap-up
