Any podiatrists here?

Anyone familiar with foot ailments?

My right foot has swelling on top, close to my ankle. Tender to the touch/tingling in my toes when touched or when flexing. There also appears to be a small bruise on the soul of my foot, directly under the swollen spot.

No idea what I did, but is it worth getting checked out? Should I see a podiatrist?

I took a pic, but Don't know how you all feel about foot pictures. (No toes in the pic, though)

I'd probably start with your regular doctor if it's easy to get in there.

Same.

I went directly when I had an infected ingrown toe nail. But they may want an x-ray for what your describing and they may not have the equipment there.

Yeah, I haven't had a regular doctor since mine passed away a year and a half ago... and Patient First doesn't seem like the best place (I know they have x-rays) since they're so broad in what they treat.
I dunno, maybe they'd be ok?

I was able to get in with a podiatrist Friday morning, just not sure what time we're leaving to go out of town, so that might not work anyway 😕
