Morning! I woke up with a sick feeling in my stomach re: this whole PM situation. I really think this woman is either a) unhinged or b) very sneaky. At this point I wouldn't put anything past her. DH is calling the company that was out yesterday to ask for a copy of the work order to see how they described the repair. This stuff stresses me out so much, I started a countdown on my phone of when we get to move out of this place. Otherwise! B is off to camp and C and I are just hanging out this morning  |

Morning! I had a golf event all day yesterday and came home to the worst headache ever so didn’t sleep great. I think the combination of the sun and alcohol didn’t help the little headache I had to start.
At the office today. H threw an epic tantrum at drop off which is so not like him, so that was fun.
We’re having family photos taken tonight and I think it should be a beautiful night for it as long as the mosquitos don’t swarm us.

I had to get to work really early to finish a report for a last minute meeting with a brand new city council board today. Nothing like telling me at 4:45pm yesterday that a client wants a report...
Now I'm sitting here dehydrated because we still don't have any water and I don't want to pee every 30min like i usually do.

Can I just say how glorious it was to not have to get the kids ready and take them to school? M had a major meltdown when I told her I had to leave for work but she was okay by the time I left. I did her hair, got her changed & made all of their food for today so it's not like MH had to do everything.
I probably should have made him do everything, huh?

On days that MH actually takes them, i still do all the leg work: breakfast, making lunches, getting them dressed, etc. yet he thinks he’s doing so much. |

tgrimes, when I was sick last week Friday morning I stayed in bed while MH got them both ready. He sounded like he was exhausted by the time he was done. I'm like... hey, welcome to my world! But that was a rarity, and usually I do most of the morning routine. Honestly, it's just easier sometimes.

I know a lot of you have had issues with nail biting. We have not had that, but S licks his lips. A lot. Like some days the area around his lips is so red it's all you see.
He used to do it a lot about 5-6 months ago and then just stopped. He started again about 2 weeks ago. It drives me crazy.
Any tips on how to get him to stop?

Yesterday even though I worked and MH didn't I did all the morning prep for the girls. I made their lunch, washed their clothes, packed their backpacks. All he had to do really was wake them and herd them along a bit since they otherwise get themselves ready. Today I decided to not do squat and let him do it all.

Morning! I have a question for you all. We were doing some gardening this morning and in the back flowerbeds we found a statue of St. Joseph that either the former owners or the original owners buried to sell this house.
Do I return it to its original owner or do I keep him (in a place of honor?) in our home?

I used to leave for work before anyone got up and DH was in charge of mornings. When I go back, I will probably take the oldest and youngest because DS1 will get a bus right by C’s babysitter but I still have over a year to figure that out.
