Just keep taking pictures! I just finally caught one. I think it look over 40 pictures before he popped up. Wait, I have to take picture to find a Smeargle??? I didn't read any of the new camera information because I never use AR. Yes. But you can take a picture of any pokemon from your pokedex. Just click on one and then tap the camera icon on the top right corner and take a bunch of pictures. When you go back through them, if you see Smeargle in one of them you can close out the camera and he'll pop up on your screen to catch. I never use AR but it automatically switched over when I went to take pictures of my pokemon and then it was back to normal when I caught Smeargle. |

Damn Wtfshouldmynamebe and Nymeria! I think it took me 45 or so. A couple of my co-workers have been taking pictures all day and still haven't had him pop up either. I guess it's really random. |

Or can I take 10 at a time, hit back, and scroll through the 10 pictures? I did notice if you take more than 10 you can scroll through more than the last 10 when you hit back. |

Which Pokemon are you guys taking pictures of to get him? I did a Raikou so my Smeargle has Shadow Ball, but too low a CP to be too useful. |

Somehow one of my coworkers missed that he actually got a picture with Smeargle. IDK how it happened but I'm guessing he closed out the game without going back to the main screen and missed being able to to catch Smeagle. He saw it later when he was going through the pics on his phone. |

It took me 2 shots to catch a smeargle. I was still trying to figure out the whole camera system and he popped up. Y'all can hate.

F-ing finally!! Another 500 shots today, closing and opening the app, switching Pokemon, and he finally popped up. Has shadow ball, but she's only 38 CP.
