Random thing #2
At the bridal shower last weekend, M & I were getting our food. M said she only wanted fruit and grabbed a couple fruit kebabs. The older lady behind me told me to grab some of the fruit dip for her because it was really good. I was polite and said no thank you. She kept urging me to get the did & I told her M was fine with just the fruit and she probably doesn't need the extra sugar. Laughing while i said it.
This lady replies with, "You can get away with that with your first kid." I politely smiled and said, "Well, I've been getting away with that with my 2nd kid, too."
I'm still annoyed by it.

tgrimes yes, those, but I want in black. I wouldn't pull the trigger on them full-price but I can rationalize the sale price. I needed new black flats last year but could never find any I really liked. Do TB flats run narrow? My feet are between normal and wide so sometimes that can be a problem. |

Hi guys! We had a slow start this morning and then ran to target to get a few things. I’m also doing laundry because H peed in my bed last night. I washed the girls laundry and then immediately after that S peed her pants. She had 3 accidents before lunch. I am so over laundry and cleaning up pee.

You know what really sucks about dieting? Besides being hangry? Drinking so much water that you're 20 minutes from your home and already need to pee. This is me everyday because I normally drink a ton of water. I probably refill my 24 oz water bottle 3-5 times during the workday. I always have to pee the second I get home even though I go just before I leave. |

Direct tv installer should be here between now and 4. Shouldn’t take him long because we already have the dish since we had it a couple years ago. So that’s my plan for the afternoon. I need to work at the garden center tonight, I have done such a bad job of getting there this week.

For Prime Day I hope to get another set of knock-off Magnatiles. I usually try to get Christmas gifts for my nephews but I'm kind of over putting any thought into their gifts. They never say thank you and I never hear if they like the gifts or play with them so pointless gift cards it is. I might get Dots for the girls for Christmas. Madison needs a new Kindle. I'm still debating on if I need an IP.

I have Drill this weekend and *shocking* but I really don't want to go. There's going to be some bigwigs there so they will probably make us stay later than usual. I have the PT test early Sunday morning which always makes me nervous and our annual BBQ is in the afternoon but I just hope I can get out of there early and maybe go to the lake since it's finally hot here.

Hi Ladies! Today was the last day of camp and VBS. H and I had to divide and conquer since they are in 2 different locations. I went with FIL to go get my oldest and I'm glad I did. He still looks in the crowd for me at almost 16, and he put his arm around me during one of the songs. My baby is practically a grown ass man, but he has still got a bit of "mama's boy" left in him 😉
H went to get the littles with MIL. They should be back any minute and we will go out to look at more giant vehicles. Summering at the ILs is the best.

I would say they're normal/average. In most enclosed shoes, I'm a 10.5 (my right foot, in particular, is on the wider side), and I wear a 10.5 in TB. Her 11's are too big on me. There are certain manufacturers (Jessica Simpson comes to mind) that I just can't wear b/c they are too narrow. I say this like I have oodles of TB--I don't. The ones I have, I've found at Nordstrom Rack  |

I’m planning to get S a kindle from the prime day sale, maybe a car seat for H but that’s not super necessary right now.
I’ve looked a little at the Nordstrom sale but idk if I’ll get anything. A bunch of bloggers I follow have been sharing the adidas women’s sneakers, I found them on amazon for like $5 cheaper than the N sale price. I will definitely be price checking before getting anything.

He keeps them all in one of the bedrooms of their house and the door is locked and he NEVER keeps any of the guns loaded. I DON'T GIVE A SHIT. I WANT A GUN SAFE. Before my SIL miscarried, my BIL said, "I guess I'll have to buy a gun safe now." So it's only worth a safe for HIS kid's safety. Not mine. |

I'm not a huge Amazon shopper and I don't really do much in the way of advance Christmas shopping, etc., so I will probably avoid and keep myself out of trouble.
DH was talking about getting kindles for the kids for the upcoming Maine trip (and all future car trips). I'm not really into the games but it would be nice for them to have their own means of watching movies--preferably with headphones!--so DH and I can use the iPad or listen to audio-books. I will let him figure that out.

tgrimes That's frustrating. I mean, he's well within his rights to not have a gun safe if that's his choice, but you are within your rights to not allow the kids there if the guns aren't secured. FWIW, I think it's very passive-aggressive of your SIL to put it on M, like a) M has control over the visiting and b) like she (SIL) doesn't know why you are...pardon the pun...sticking to your guns.

If he doesn't care about safety because of selfish interests, perhaps the reminder that his home could be broken into and without a safe his own weapons could be stolen and used in a crime might spark a lightbulb moment for him. Speaking of guns we got some gun nut propaganda junk mail. Normally I'd immediately toss something like that but instead I looked at it to get of glimpse of how the other side "thinks" (and I use the term "think" loosely because I don't think there's much cognitive energy being utilized). It was made to look like a court document with the recipient summoned as the jury against the evils of Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, etc. and to make a final verdict against them. It had all these little check the box areas including to check a box that they are all guilty. The author claimed he's going to use this "data" he receives to present to the supreme court. But it made me think, how many low IQ yahoos are going to eat this shit up? How many of them actually believe that by them checking that box that HRC will actually go to jail? Something tells me I'd be horrified at the percentage of people who believe this crazy shit. |

Sorry I didn’t respond to your questions earlier inthekitty. The interview went well, they called me today saying that if I want the job it’s mine. We just need to talk salary, workdays etc now. It’s not enough hours to make a living, so for now I’ll keep doing two jobs, which is fine. I love the people at my current/old job ☺️. Thanks for asking btw. |

Sorry I haven’t been around much these last few days. I’ve been soooo busy and a little overwhelmed due to the work situation. My voice is completely gone, which always happens when I’m stressed and/or tired. Just got home from from Rufus Wainwright, it was amazing. During the encore he played Hallelujah, I cried my eyes out. I’ve listened to this song for almost 20 years and I never expected to hear it live, it really caught me off guard. Hope all is well with you lovely ladies.

Hi! I’m exhausted! Our lab had her puppies last night. So we were up till 2am dealing with that. Then S woke at 5. So I’m running on 3 hours sleep and it’s catching up to me! I can’t wait to put S to bed tonight so I can crash! But we have 7 of the sweetest cutest lab puppies!
