I'm at the dmv to renew my license. It opens I. 4 minutes and there's 20 people in line already. I got Panera on the way and Sneaky Pete on my phone.

Morning!
I got sucked into the Nordstrom anniversary sale (thank you, bloggers everywhere) so I've been stalking the site this morning. I don't carry their credit card so I have to wait til next week, but there are now a couple things I'm eyeing.
Otherwise, just hanging out with the kiddos. We made breakfast and they're watching Balto. DH has a half-day today, not sure what is on our agenda for the weekend.

I'm working while the kids play. Letting A sleep in. He worked 14 hours yesterday, left at 4 am and didn't get home until 9:30. We were supposed to go to the fair but I went with a friend since he worked late. But my children were awful so we watched my brother in the mounted horse shoot and left. M bawled that I wouldn't let him ride rides.

Tory Burch flats and one of the Barefoot Dreams cardigans. #basicbitch There's a good chance both of those things will have sold out by next week, so we'll see. I have some other stuff on my wish-list but it's more casual/every-day type stuff. |

tgrimes yes, those, but I want in black. I wouldn't pull the trigger on them full-price but I can rationalize the sale price. I needed new black flats last year but could never find any I really liked.

You know what really sucks about dieting? Besides being hangry? Drinking so much water that you're 20 minutes from your home and already need to pee.

Sunny41, they should take 2-3 pictures and let us choose 1 of the 3. It's not fair that they take one and expect it to be good. Or, let us bring in a picture of our own.

Tgif. I keep staying up too late and pay for it the next morning. I'm waiting for the ped to call back, N's new teachers were freaked out by her awful diapers, so that's a good wake up call that something is up with her digestion. I'm not sure if she'll suggest an allergist or elimination diet. Neither sound fun though.

Morning! I'm so freaking glad it's Friday. Work is stressing me out because my manager hasn't updated our roadmap or communicated if it would be ready in time, so everyone keeps asking me about it. Except I've barely been in the office so I have no clue what's going on, and my manager keeps dodging me. And it looks like I may need to head back to Calgary again in September. Sigh... At least we have a relatively free weekend to play with the kids and chill.

Morning!
We made it to my Mom’s at 230 am. I managed to keep both kids asleep as I transferred them to bed and promptly went to sleep myself. M was up at 830 and my mom had left to get breakfast so he woke me up. We’ve just been hanging around the house so far. I’ll be going to pick up lunch in a bit.

I, too, am sucked into the sale without their card. One of the bloggers I follow on IG has me wanting to add some things to my cart for next week, but I haven’t had a chance to go to the site yet. Mostly just shoes and accessories on my list.
So many talk about those flats, but they don’t appeal to me. It’s the gold logo disc at the toe that turns me off.

Happy Friday! Dh just left for a weekend long golf tournament. It’s at the golf course right across the street but i don’t plan on seeing him until late tomorrow night at the post golf get together.
So I’m taking the kids to my sisters tonight for a slumber party. There’s also a small music festival this weekend so we’ll head there for a bit tonight.

Happy Friday! Dh just left for a weekend long golf tournament. It’s at the golf course right across the street but i don’t plan on seeing him until late tomorrow night at the post golf get together. So I’m taking the kids to my sisters tonight for a slumber party. There’s also a small music festival this weekend so we’ll head there for a bit tonight. That sounds fun! I wish my sister lived closer so I could do this. |

My SIL asked M again last weekend when she was going to come spend the night at her house to help take care of all the animals. (they recently got some goats to add to their collection) Again, I told her until they get a gun safe, neither of my children will be going to her house without me present.
Stop putting ideas into her head that is not going to happen! So frustrating.
