Anyone have any advice on riding out separation anxiety? Google tells me the reason my kid is waking so often is anxiety. That's all great but what am I supposed to do with that info??
I'm sure there isn't much to be done about it, so anyone have any encouragement in the meantime. E slept 7-2 am and then 2-4:30 and that's when our day began. I'm done. I'm just done.

cythe both my children are currently super clingy and anxious about me even walking out of the room (DD1 is 3.5) let alone nighttime sleep so it’s been fun here too. No advice jus commiseration as I’m living it too. Hanging out at the house today because it’s super humid and hot. Our “playroom” is an enclosed sunroom and it looks like a disaster zone but I give no cares right now. It’s allowed me to slip away for a few minutes at a time to do laundry, wash dishes, and whatnot.

G is just getting over his separation anxiety and realizing that not everyone besides mommy is an evil devil. I know it's so exhausting on you. FWIW, at his appointment yesterday, one of the milestone questions was whether or not he has stranger danger, because they obviously should at this age. Sooooo E is meeting her milestone in that regard. Silver linings and all...

G had his 9 month well check yesterday. No shots, but his hemoglobin was a little low, so we'll start a multivitamin for that. The pedi was pleased with the "cocktail" (as he called it) that seems to be controlling his GERD so he said to keep cruising with that. Overall a good visit. Oh, and my kid has a 95% head.

Our schedule for the day completely off but I got to sleep in and made cold brew for the first time so I’m good to go even if everything else is a disaster. The big is napping too much and the little not enough.

cythe no advice just commiseration. That is pretty much my kids sleep schedule most nights. I tried letting her CIO last night. That just woke everyone else up and I ended up feeding her anyway. I’m over it.

The big is napping too much and the little not enough. Random, but what do you use to make your cold brew? I literally have no idea how to make cold coffee so I just throw all of my money at drive thrus to get it.

It is ridiculously hot here and our AC can't keep up. I'm dying. I'm too hot to go to bed so I'm here.
We're leaving tomorrow for a long weekend with my ILs - DH's parents and his brother and family. 6 adults and 4 kids ages 4, 3. 1.5, 9 months. We're all staying in a big condo at the lake. Fx all the kids sleep good and they don't all wake each other up MOTN.
This is LO on the 4th of July at my mom's. 9 months + ~week.

I've been with my in-laws all week, and I'm so drained. They were supposed to come down here today, and as much as i love all of them and my nephews, i was so excited when they asked if i would be okay with them not coming. I drove back home last night with a migraine, carried the boys in to their beds, then collapsed in mine. My niblings just have so much energy, and are so draining. And teaching my toddler so many naughty and annoying things. And are constantly in my baby's face. I don't think we're going up tomorrow either, so I'm really excited to not see them until Saturday.

We’ve got a chronic stander here too. Sorry for the grainy picture. She’s chewing on her big brothers’ swim goggles.

DS is 9 months old today and spends approximately 70% of his waking hours standing up on stuff. And also spends the majority of his waking hours babbling at me “ah, yah, ba” and his most favourite “dadadadadada”. All very loud and with a lot of enthusiasm. I coach him on “mama” constantly but we’ll see lol
