Was everyone too busy with cookouts and fireworks to post? I came here to see all the pictures of adorable babies and siblings and I don't see a thread! We spent all afternoon with DH's college friends/families and Faith was a trooper. We came home and she slept from 6-9 so we risked going with my sister to go see fireworks. She did great! It was still warm and muggy so she got a little antsy towards the end and the grand finale startled her a little, but otherwise she just sat there and watched them.

Been a long day. Big kid didn't nap (used to a 2+ hr nap) and little slept a hour this afternoon with no morning nap. They were so off and out showed when we got home. We did have fun while at the lake but no fireworks for us. We saved so much money!
Random... both of my nipples have started hurting while pumping like the entire time. I'm an EPer so this is annoying haha. I soaked them in a bath tonight so hopefully that helps.

My girls! We had a busy morning at my friends pool & lazy afternoon at home. I really don’t want to go back to work tomorrow.

jessijean mine too. I'm not an EPer but they hurt! O has started biting and I think that's partially the culprit.

Hi! Sorry I know it's actually Thursday. We enjoyed our day at home. Took the girls to the pool, did some gardening. Did some homework. My girls! Ring sling time for fussing at dinner. I'm frustrated by our night sleep because she reeeally doesn't like her crib. It's not realistic to hold her every night and we are not in camp co -sleep. So... Anyone with tips greatly appreciated. I think it's from switching from the swaddle cold turkey because she started rolling before we had done any arms out. But that was like 2 weeks ago. So I'm starting a very mild CIO.. I let her go on for between 5-10 min before going in and trying again. I struggle with it a lot but she neeeeeds better sleep. At school during the day she'll roll to her belly and sleep but only does it rarely at home. :/

We went to a parade yesterday morning and all DD1 can talk about is the fire trucks and “candies”. We didn’t go to fireworks since they were so late and also our military dog had bad ptsd and was really worked up. So I’m kind of glad we stayed home to sit with him. Baby tried baby food for the first time yesterday - green beans - and loved it! I put the girls in their matching HA dresses yesterday that you guys helped me decide I needed 😃

We drove 3 hours to VT yesterday. We will be here until Sunday. It’s supposed to be super hot today so we’re going to Lake Champlain.

I can’t find my card reader for my big camera. I’ve taken lots of pics on their lately so bummer! My girls yesterday... We spent eight hours in the pool and stayed up way too late but it was a good day. And a pic of my tiny girlfriend working on her sitting skills.

Happy belated 4th! We had a long day. Parade, then cookout, then quick stop at the beach to cool off. It was fun, but I’m wiped today. Parade pics!

Hi friends! We spent most of yesterday in the water! E got moved up to a big boy bed. We don't really have a place for the crib right now, colin is still in our room in a pack in play. We are just waiting on our building permit then the basement will get dug....cannot wait!! Hoping we will be in by Sept/Oct

We're in the middle of a heat wave here, I can't wait for it to break this weekend. Here is DS from grading day on Friday, I can't believe that he is already done his first year of elementary: Here is DD from Canada day in her red tutu, before she spit up all over herself: I made homemade Lebanese food for supper on Canada day, with strawberry shortcake. So yummy!!

I am in awe of all the sitters/soon-to-be sitters in this group! J is still my pet rock. He did roll over from belly to back yesterday but it was only once. He hasn't done it since. He isn't close to sitting by himself.

yellow711 Arden has only rolled a total of six times in her life (6 Months next week) and can only last a max of like 20 seconds sitting if all the stars are aligned. Lol. We’re still a long ways from being more than a lump I feel like!

I have complained about this a bunch on my M15 board but I am going to complain some more because I am uncomfortable. My air conditioning isn’t working. I called the guy. He couldn’t come because my system had to thaw before he could work on it. He may come very late tonight or tomorrow at 12:30. It’s 85 degrees in my house right now. The baby’s room is 90. I am going to keep his helmet off for sleep tonight. It’s just too hot.

Oh my god you guys! Little dude just got up on all 4s and started to rock. That’s the start of crawling. G didn’t crawl until like 8mo. And even then she sort of army crawled for a few weeks. I was not expecting this kind of mobility yet.

Definitely a good call on leaving the helmet off marygracerich. I hope it cools down for the night! When we were getting our upstairs AC done a couple of weeks ago it got down to 83 up there at night, I deemed it cool enough to sleep in but I was ready to camp out downstairs if necessary! Do you have different levels/the ability to sleep on the lower level? I feel like I remember that your LO is up in a loft? I feel for you. It is no fun to be hot all day AND all night.

Unfortunately there really is no room to move him lower. He won’t sleep any better in the pnp than he would helmetless in his crib. He has a fan on him that so far is keeping him cool. The monitor says his room is 90 but I am sure he doesn’t feel like it is with the fan. I however may sleep on the couch. MHs body sort of blocks the fan in our room so if I sleep in my bed, I won’t get any breeze. It’s currently 85 in the house. If the temp drops below 80 tonight I may open the windows.

Also team not sitting! DS’ physical therapist told me that babies are either sitters or movers. My DD was a sitter through & through...sat up independent around 5mo and stayed there until almost a year. Just wanted toys around her & she was happy as could be. DS is already scooting in circles & yesterday used his elbow & feet to push himself forward so I think will be army crawling soon.
