stephne we are still doing three naps. Two are good-sized naps...usually the early morning one is 1-1.5hrs. His lunchtime nap is usually over two hours though, sometimes up to 3. Late afternoon nap is 30-60min. That one is usually just to get us to bedtime. I think that one will go soon. ETA he is 6mo next week. I feel like we should be on a better nap schedule. May have to talk with daycare and see what they think.

+1 to creating poor sleep habits for letting Faith sleep in our bed in the early morning hours or when I want to take a long nap. I can't take it anymore and I'm going to do some sleep training tonight. I'm using the Super Nanny Jo method of going in at set intervals to try to sooth/comfort her and let her know that she isn't alone, but no more extended rocking/cuddling to sleep in the middle of the night. I think she is a little to young for CIO so I'm goin to give this a try. After she wakes up for the first time she is up for hours in a row. I get up, put the paci in, rock her until she is almost asleep (or fully asleep if I nod off), put her in the crib, get back into bed and she cries again 5 minutes later and the whole process gets repeated.

Like he went to “nap” at 6 and never woke up so I went in at 7:30 so put pajamas on & nurse him. Sitting here now feeding him & he is passed out again nursing haha.

With DD1, it was so easy to get her on a schedule because we’d just stay home during those times for nap. But now with DD2, I feel like a lot of her naps are on the go because we’re always going places for DD1 and our lives are just busier this time around. I’m ready for a nap schedule. These cat naps are killing me!

How old is baby? 6 months
2. How much does baby weigh? What size clothes and diapers are they in? 20lb 5oz. 12 month clothes and just finishing up size 3 diapers
3. How is baby sleeping? Generally wakes up once a night. Working on more crib naps. He usually sleeps some in the crib and finishes on my lap.
4. Any fun new things baby is doing? His talking is hilarious. He's so close to sitting, lasts about 20 seconds
5. Have you started food yet? Started purees a couple weeks ago. Bananas caused constipation but otherwise he's liking it but still wants our food so this may go quick.
6. Is there anything that you're worried about- how baby is sleeping, eating, etc? The constipation was tough but I think we are getting better.
7. How are YOU doing?? I'm dealing with work stress/drama and apparently have nipple thrush so that's fun.... otherwise I'm doing good

Just had baby's 6 month appointment (she's 6 mo. and almost 2 weeks now) and I thought I would add her stats:
W: 17lbs 7oz H: 26.5" Head: 17.8"
She got 2 shots and was not pleased with me or the nurse. Fx she doesn't have any reactions since I took her straight to daycare after.

1. How old is baby? 5 months 2. How much does baby weigh? What size clothes and diapers are they in? Last check was at 4 months and he was 12 lbs 9 oz. 3 and some 6 month clothes 3. How is baby sleeping? Knock on wood he's been a much better sleeper since he started eating more during the day, sleeping on his stomach and sleeping in the crib. We put him down around 8 and typically he's not up until 5, sometimes we'll get a wake up between 3 and 4 4. Any fun new things baby is doing? He started laughing and sticking his tongue out. He's got a great smile 5. Have you started food yet? He tried a bite of banana tonight which he was mad that we fed it to him instead of him doing it. We'll probably become more serious about it closer to 6 months. 6. Is there anything that you're worried about- how baby is sleeping, eating, etc? Not really 7. How are YOU doing?? I'm ok, just stressed a lot about splitting my time between the kids evenly, keeping up with the house and work, my anxiety about germs is in full force again. Money with 2 in daycare is taking a big mental toll on me. Read more: howeverithappened.proboards.com/thread/17238/check-thread#ixzz5LHatd7Dk
