Glad to hear she is acting like her usual self lfig. How scary. dapostrophe nooooooooooo! Oh man. Hoping the rest of the day turns around. cagoldi glad X appears to be doing better. tallb glad to hear it was good. I really want to see it but think I will be a pile of waterworks. Nothing really to report. Same old stuff. We looked at 2 houses yesterday as potential back-ups since the sellers of the one we want re-listed it. I thought one might be a contender (almost an acre lot in a desirable neighborhood) but the land was just way too much (almost every square inch was landscaped and required a lot of work and nothing was left natural where it wouldn't require much maintenance) and the house was something else. The flooring every where was this ugly rubber stuff or linoleum. Every damn room was painted with several metallic colors. Metallic orange, metallic purple, metallic brown. Designers the owners were not. The other house was a new build. The house was so nice it almost made up for the less desirable neighborhood but I think as long as no other offers come in for the house we're going for we'll stick with that. Now if someone will just buy ours so we can move forward...

lfig I'm glad she is doing ok but super scary!! dapostrophe hope your day is doing better cagoldi I'm glad C is better to get the test done. Hope the rest of the family is healthy. wedding can I join you in your vacations? flamingo looks good. If I ever get money to redecorate our house I will call you for help.

My dad just called to tell me my grandmother passed away. She went in her sleep. He was going to wait to call me when I got off of work, but word was spreading and he didn't want me to find out from social media or other people. We were close when I was younger. In the last few years, her hearing got really bad so I would only be able to talk to her when I visited home. This sucks. I'll try not to be a mess at work. Glad I'm done with my patients for the day.

Hi!! I'm pretty much a zombie today. Lo's school just posted a video of their summer school's 4th of July parade. One parent sent their kid in a I ❤️ London shirt with the British flag on it...I laughed so hard I almost woke up E, which would have made me cry.

I'm sorry lahdeedah.  It's such a challenge when it's difficult to stay in regular contact when you can only do it in person because of hearing issues. |

Jealous of your guinea pig sitting assignment, trtlcrzy. I miss mine. They overheat kind of easily, as my dad learned one summer day. RIP, Elvis and Priscilla. Little lilo has been in hiding since she arrived. I will share a pic whenever she comes out. I’m bribing her with apple slices S didn’t finish at lunch. |

Today is our 7 year wedding anniversary so although we fly out tomorrow morning, we're going out tonight too. I would have preferred to stay home with the boys given how much I've been away lately, but considering how much attention DH seems to need right now, I'm not going to mention it. Things have been good, although it's kind of exhausting. It may be a similar situation that wedding alluded to, though I wonder how much of it is because DH works from home and has zero daily adult interaction outside of daycare drop-off. I'm hoping I adjust because I'm well aware that I can be a bit distant plus I don't see him making any changes. Anyhow my back has been bugging me off and on for the last couple months, too many flights and road trips. I can't wait until things slow down! I did a few exercises this morning that seem to be helping a bit, so hopefully I can build on that. Back pain just makes me feel old!! |

flamingo and chrisy01 our realtor is worthless. A week later after requesting to change some of the photos in the listing it still hasn't happened. She's been out of town the better part of the past 3 weeks. She never responded to a text we sent informing her that her protégé who showed our house over the weekend shut the door to the closet that has our cat's litter box so he pooped on the carpet. MH found her and I want him to dump her and ask for someone else in the office. Normally I'd want to go through the person first instead of their boss, but I think her response to us will be emotional entrapment (my family member is ill!) rather than being business-oriented and correcting the problem. However, MH wanted to give her one more chance and texted her with our concerns directly. We'll see how she responds but at this point the clock is ticking. We need our house to sell and as it gets closer to fall the hard time to hit for military moves will be over because everyone wants to be settled in school.

flamingo that looks so much better and brighter! Did you paint it sea salt? joelies happy anniversary! It's similar but a little more blue, since the kids bedrooms are blue/white. Constellation by Ben Moore. eta: I'm thinking Sea Salt for my master, tho! I miss it from my old house, lol. |

I love the bathroom, flamingo! I didn't think the before was bad until I saw the after, to be honest. It reminds me that I REALLY want to repaint our powder room and guest bath. It's all part of my plan to slowly repaint the entire house in more neutral hues. |

My aunt was babysitting our gerbils one summer. She found out the hard way that gerbils, although desert animals, cannot stay in a glass terrarium in direct sunlight... I killed my frog this way by accident. Except I was 28. The story makes me so upset! |
