Uh oh, I’ve started too many threads. Where is everyone?

H quit his job today! It’s a good thing. He had been there three years, but a couple months ago had to switch teams and the new boss is...not a good fit. So now he’ll have time to focus on his grants and projects he cares about. I think he’ll be much happier.

Hi! I’m here. I have been busy all morning. After breakfast and some cleaning I took them to the library. Then we came home and had lunch. Now G is down for a nap and the baby is in the pnp. He isn’t sleeping yet but will be hopefully soon.
I don’t think we are doing anything this afternoon. It’s super hot and I can’t take the baby out in the heat with his helmet on so I can’t even take them to a splash pad or something.

Hi! I taught 2 barre classes this morning and am now rocking baby. Thinking I need to
Sleep train soon as it’s becoming a whole long thing to put him down. After DS1 naps, we are going to swim at my best friend’s house.

I'm here. Well at work, but checking here periodically. We are super busy this week but I have no motivation. I think we are going to go to a nearby city to see fireworks tomorrow night instead of watching the ones close to us on wednesday night. Here it doesn't get dark until after 9 and I won't want to have to get the girls up for daycare the day after fireworks.

The daycare we go to told everyone to wear red white and/or blue tomorrow. I told DD1 and she said "I don't wanna wear red and blue." Everything is an issue these days. Really everything I say she responds with "I don't wanna..." Ugh.

Hiiiiiiiii!

I took off today and tomorrow. It's stupid hot out so we've been inside all day. We were going to zoo with my best friend and her kids but it's way too hot. So I'll set up the water table and the big kids can play with that. She has a S13 and an A18 and our olders get along super well. She lives in SC where they are used to this heat though!!

No school and no work means mommy can like.. Clean. 😉🙃

I bought a crib soother on Amazon to hopefully help Liv MOTN. I slept for the second night in a row in the recliner..
Ugh. No thank you.

my DD1 is a little older than yours (she turned 3 in May) and she’s the same way. Says no to everything. It helps giving her a choice, helps her feel in control. So in that instance, I’d hold up a red/blue dress and a different outfit that I know she doesn’t care about and ask her which she wants to wear, and 99% of the time will pick the dress. Or, I’d pick a red one and a blue one and have her pick from those. I try to do this with most things, like breakfast options or lunch. I get less of the “no I don’t want this!!”, that way I can say hey you picked it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why must my h call me as soon as I get the baby to sleep. 2nd time he woke the baby today. I really hope the vacuum will charge quickly, I have 2 sets of stairs to vacuum and get the food out of the fridge. H told me the house is a disaster so not really looking forward to that after I had made it look decent last night. Damn now the big is up.

Hi guys! I'm emotionally decompressing after cleaning out my office this weekend. Waiting for my former officemate to ask me where the extra monitor and printer went. My dept head told me to take them. That will piss her off but meh. I'm still salty that she didn't let me double check that I got my files off my work laptop before she gave it away. I realized this weekend that I still have that computer's power cord. Am I going to offer it back? HA, NO! I wonder how long it will take for her to realize I cleared out my desk.
