Morning.
X's turn to be sick (again!) I guess? He threw up this morning. Poppy had a rough night so o think I got maybe? a total of two hours of broken sleep.
Not a good way to start infusion day. Boo.
Thank goodness Pete comes back tonight.

Mh is home and all is well. They said the only time he cried was when an eyelash fell into his eye and he kept rubbing it. She was able to get it out and he was fine. So relieved and glad he wasn't a cranky mess the whole time. I may let them spend more time with him on the weekends. It would be nice to have babysitters for a few hours on the weekends when MH is in football season. They also live right down the street. This may turn into something!

My sister and her fam are visiting soon for 5 days...anyone have meal ideas for 8 people? We're planning on grilling as much as we can but that's a lot of meals! shepherd's pie enchiladas spaghetti burgers & fries make your own pizzas sheet pan nachos tacos with beans & rice quesadillas |

Evie was putting on her stick on earrings this morning and Theo wanted some too. She gave one to him and the other one to Travis, her older brother. They were wearing them in the car, but Travis took his off before we got to the gym because he was afraid the other kids would laugh at him. I told him that was fine, but not to pay attention to people who try to make him feel bad for being different. We talk about things like this a lot so I asked him how he could respond in a situation like that. He paused for a moment before he said "I could say "Back off, Haters" and then walk away". I mean...not exactly what I taught him, but it works  I'll have to remember this response. So far E doesn't have any haters but once these kids get older they won't tolerate manbuns and headbands like pre-k |

Get lunch meat, fruit, veggies, cheese and crackers and dips and let people make sandwiches or lunchables. Taco/nacho night is always easy |

Hi all! Oddly busy day work. The phone hasn’t rang but I have a lot of odds and ends to take care of. I’ve also been waiting on a chat queue for 4 hours and I’m finally 3rd in queue! I better not get disconnected like last time a tried. Government, man.
Boss told us to make it a short day if possible. So hopefully I can finish up and leave a little early. I’m also going to get to spin class after work. First time in a while, hopefully i don’t die.

My biopsy was negative and the lymph node was embedded in the mass and that was negative as well so no further surgery!

mamabear Stuff for the grill...hotdogs/burgers, teriyaki chicken sandwiches, kabobs with steak or chicken and veggies with rice. Watermelon, pasta salad and corn on the cob are all hits here and fairly easy for kids and big #s.

Hey all! The girls actually slept in for once. Then we had to get ready and get out the door because we met the ILs, SIL and my niece at the park to play and have a picnic. The girls had a lot of fun and S just wanted to swing the whole time. After we got home I put S down for a nap and H is having quiet time. I did some yard work, yesterday I bought a small blueberry Bush so I planted that. Since then I’ve been relaxing. When S wakes up we are meeting friends at the pool.

It was like my vein exploded when she first stuck me and blood gushed all over both of us and my bed. Super fun. |
