TTMA steak nachos. What kind of cheese? Can you cook nachos on the BBQ? Do you Canadians not nacho?? Any cheese, but I like Monterrey, pepperjack, or cheddar best (or any combo). Also red onions, jalapenos, tomatoes (or just pico de gallo). Some people put refried beans on under the cheese. I usually just do them in the microwave but my step-mom makes these extreme triple layer nachos in the oven that are amazing. Oh yeah, nachos aaalways in the oven! Only microwave in cases of emergency. And triple layer nachos sounds like my love language.

Nachos are delicious. I make a spicy bean paste to go on mine. I saw a recipe to make nachos using tostones instead of chips, I'll have to try that.

We didn't even end up using the left over. My BF came home from errands with a store bought McDonalds Big Mac sauce and decided on BBQ hamburgers to try it. Who am I to protest.

I'm going to try to bring nachos back into the healthy land. You can do beet chip nachos. Make your own beet chips in the oven, or Trader Joe's sells beet chips where the only ingredient is beets. They are a delicious vehicle for guacamole, and also work well topped with beans, pico, etc

To piggyback off coconutbacon, I made sweet potato nachos a few weeks ago and they were REALLY good!
