Three questions from Gutierrez.
1. Was our country attacked in order to undermine our elections? (Yes, we have an assessment, and we have indictments to that effect)
Then why isn't this hearing investigating that?! Why are we holding a hearing to undermine the FBI and DOJ?
2. Has anyone taken steps to lie, obfuscate, undermine or misdirect the Mueller investigation? (Mueller has the authority to investigate any attempt to obstruct his investigation)
Gutierrez tells Rosenstein to his face that he wants to impeach him and says, "Good luck, we're in the minority"

His time expired before he could ask whatever his third question was but he was about to ask him to enter something onto the record.

now Goodlatte is bitching about documents. Wray already told him an hour ago they have over 100 staffers working day and night to prepare and turn over documents. Rosenstein says he wishes he had had a chance to better explain the DOJ position before this morning's floor vote.

Rosenstein laughs in Goodlatte's face when he asks if he is still signing FISA warrants. "It would be a dereliction of duty for me not to approve FISA requests as appropriate."

Can the FBI "finish the hell up" or?
Wray: "We are not going to do our investigation subject to any political interference from either side."

Rosenstein suggests that the Majority wouldn't have their knickers in such a twist over the document production issue if they understood or even listened to explanations of the necessary process involved to protect grand jury investigations and personal information.

Deutch turns Chabot's comment about distrust in the DOJ and FBI back on him by saying that it's Republican members of congress themselves who have sowed that distrust.

Rep Cicilline, D-RI, directly accuses his colleagues of protecting Trump and implores Rosenstein and Wray to ignore the "bullying" from the GOP.

Rep Bass, D-CA, is displeased with the way her colleagues are treating the witnesses but is still waiting for them to respond to her WRT a report on "Black Identity Extremists." (She has brought this up at several hearings in the past 18 months)
Wray doesn't know who drafted the report but says that he has found past conversations with Ms Bass constructive and has gone back to take a look at "categories of domestic terrorism"
Rosenstein assures Ms Bass that the FBI is focused on violations of the law, not on anyone exercising their 1st amendment rights

It's amazing that republicans demanded this hearing but none of them are giving the witnesses a chance to answer their questions.
Now Gohmert and Rosenstein are shouting at each other.
