How old is your LO: 3 months Appointments: 4 month appointment at the end of July Milestones: she's laughing for realz. Found her toesies. Rants/Raves/Vents: she is very much a mama's girl. She went to her first birthday party on Sunday for a friend's kiddo and it was the first time meeting a lot of my close friends and she cried for alll of them. It's ok though, I'm obsessed with her too.

How old is your LO: 11 weeks today! Appointments: none until 4m appt in August Milestones: hating tummy time a *bit* less, I think I heard a giggle yesterday. Rants/Raves/Vents: not sure how he will do when I go back to work, he cries with anybody but me😬 and seems to be on a bottle strike too so I’m priming a whole bunch of different bottles to try. He’s so different from my first! First baseball game! First time in the sit me up-

How old is your LO: 16 weeks yesterday. Closing in on that 4mo Mark Appointments: we have another BF clinic appt tomorrow but today I’m going on for a surgery consult to get that effing gallbladder out. Milestones: He rolled over a few times from back to belly. Rants/Raves/Vents: Nothing much. I don’t want to jinx anything but the last few days have been really fun. I really think I’m not cut out for newborn life, but I’m enjoying infant life This kid also loves being naked. It’s his absolute favourite time; diaper changes and bathtime This was after I got an hour of the elusive double nap. And then I had a lapful to make up for it.

How old is your LO:. 3 months. Does that mean she's no longer a newborn?? Appointments:. 4 month appointment in August Milestones: Nothing new since last week I don't think Rants/Raves/Vents: My first was a unicorn baby. Slept well always. Didn't cry too much. I swore N would be a disaster but so far she's been even easier. It's nice, but I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like, it cant possibly last... leatherpants I'm also leading that double cuddle life. And trying to work. 🤣

How old is your LO: 18 weeks tomorrow
Appointments: 4 month appt on Friday. I’m super nervous to find out his weight. I feel like he’s not gaining a ton and I’m scared about what the doc is going to say.
Milestones: found his feet/toes (goodbye socks)
Rants/Raves/Vents: I am LOVING this stage. He is so interactive and fun! H has been “walking” him around the house and he takes the most adorable little baby steps. He has a little soccer ball that he “kicks” as he walks and he follows it as it rolls. So freaking cute. I wish I could post the video but here’s a screenshot.

How old is your LO: 14 weeks
Appointments: 4 month July 24th
Milestones: She's laughing more now. Yesterday D1 just told her hi and she giggled so cute. Also has more head and neck control.
Rants/Raves/Vents: She has been such a grump the past few days. Which part of it is teething but she's been spitting up more and had mucous poops last night. I haven't eaten anything that has any dairy in it so I'm not sure what is causing this. I go back and forth if it would just be easier to switch her to a dairy free sensitive formula.
Big sister covered her in stickers when I was putting laundry away on Monday. Lol.

How old is your LO: tomorrow will be 16 weeks
Appointments: on two weeks for his four month
Milestones: he's in size 3 diapers. He suddenly grew another inch and 0-3 m pants are too short
Rants/Raves/Vents: not baby related, we got a new toilet and I am quite annoyed because it's a taller one so my feet don't go flat on the floor and I can't relax properly. I guess I will have to get a foot stool. 🤷

How old is your LO: 3 months tomorrow!!! Appointments: Not until 4 months. Milestones: She is nearly 15 pounds, laughs, smiles, reaches for and holds toys, chews on toys and her hands. She sleeps through the night and we are closer to a good nap and bottle schedule throughout the day. She is rolling from front to back but she is so entertained by ceiling fans, lights and trees that she never tries to roll from back to front, lol. Rants/Raves/Vents: DH is home with her now on pat leave and he is doing a great job. So that's a rave I guess! He texts me all day about how much he loves her. Its really sweet.

cp3, L had really mucuousy poops for about 10 days and I went through the same questions. Ultimately we figured out that she was fighting a virus that my son had gotten. Just a minor bug without a whole lot of other symptoms but the stools turned out to be a sign that she was fighting it off. So I might give it a little time before making any radical diet changes.

I've been dairy free for two months and that has helped a ton with the spit up and mucus in her poop. I was just wondering if there was something else that would be causing this. She does seem to have a little cold, she woke up with a cough and keeps sneezing so I wonder if that's what is causing this.

How old is your LO: 3 months yesterday!
Appointments: Shots in a month, health check in a month too. Im keen to see how much he weighs... he is not small.
Milestones: sleep getting better. Can sit in the sit me up for short stints.
Rants/Raves/Vents: he still thinks he is an extension of my body lol. H does the MOTN diaper change before a feed most of the time and boy does DS scream when he does it, smiles and coos when I do it. Dude. Dad is cool too you know.

How old is your LO: 3.5 months Appointments: his 4 month appointment is July 17 Milestones: he is still working on rolling over. He has started to roll onto his side to sleep some nights. Rants/Raves/Vents: I can’t wait for DH to get to my parent’s house on Friday evening so he can do the middle of the night feeding. I hope DH is enjoying his child free week...he owes me big time in the sleep department. Here are a couple pics from L’s 3 month photo shoot

How old is your LO: 11 weeks Appointments: nada t Milestones: first cold ( cp3 this caused crazy poops - green and mucus and just general grossness so it could definitely be that) She’s also firmly in the 3-6mos cloths and fits better in a lot of the 6mos carters stuff. I cried going through her cloths. We’re definitely done after her but I’m still so so sad she is getting so big so fast. Time has literally flown by and in my head she’s still a tiny newborn. Rants/Raves/Vents: I CANT FIND HER HOSPITAL BRACELET. I’m going to be so pissed if it got thrown out on accident. I have mine and DH’s but hers is no where to be found. I’m feeling like a shitty mom for not doing baby books or cute monthly photos. I just am not good at keeping up with that stuff. I hope they don’t hate me. And we never got around to doing a sip and see for DD2. I just feel like a shitty mom.

Leaf 🌱 My sister has a pimped baby boom and mine is pathetic and I don’t have an ill feelings towards my mom. 😊. I haven’t been good with one this time so I’m putting aside onesies to have made into a blanket when he turns a year to make up for it....if I remember.

Leaf 🌱 I’m totally shit at baby book stuff. So I just made DS1 a shutter fly photo book and used the date stamp from google photos to do month pages. Took me like two years to do lol and looks great.

Hi. I'm late this week. How old is your LO: 13 weeks today. After he hits three months I stop keeping track of weeks. Appointments: None till 4-month checkup. Milestones: He's been doing laugh-like sounds for a week or two, and last night we're fairly confident he gave us a real laugh! I'm glad DH was there for it. Rants/Raves/Vents: Is there a hormone crash around 3 months PP? Because I haven't been in a great headspace and I can't figure out if it's hormone-related or just a mix of outside circumstances (the latest political shitshow, summer heat that I loathe, DS being home from preschool, a recent loss anniversary, etc) It's setting off my red flags for the phases of depression I sometimes go through, but I feel like I remember something similar with DS and it passed without my needing medication. On the happier side, DH and I's anniversary was this past week - eight years! - and I feel like we're in a good place.

katietopaz, I think there is and I'm feeling it too. Just like coming out of the newborn/postpartum haze and all of the adrenaline is wearing off. The external factors don't help though.

katietopaz tons of hugs for your loss anniversary. And congrats on you and your H’s anniversary! 8 years is no small feat! H and I are almost at 3 years and marriage is for sure harder than I thought it would be at times.

katietopaz, I echo what snowmoon said. I think around 3 months everything starts getting like...permanent feeling and can be overwhelming. Plus if you're going back to work that's difficult. It's definitely been a little rougher for me the last few weeks too.

katietopaz there has to be bc I’m weepy AF and just so damn sad about things Inknow shouldn’t bother me so much. Im not sure where you stand politically but the news being a constant (IMO) barrage of awful certainly isn’t helping. I feel upset and helpless 84% of the time. I need fall to get here. Vineyard trips, Apple picking, and decent weather (and hopefully being comfortable in my schedule) should help a little. A billion hugs. Stay in the AC and just soak up baby snuggles. And try and get out with friends. My bff and I met for a glass of wine after bedtime last week and it was hugely helpful. It seriously cut my anxiety in half.

Thank you for the validation! I'm sorry that I'm not the only one feeling the hormone crash. I think you guys totally nailed it with saying it's like the adrenaline is wearing off and it's starting to feel like, okay, this really is our new normal. Whew. The good thing is, hopefully that means we'll all be finding our groove soon. woodenshoes I'm so sorry for your loss, and I'll light a candle for you and your LO tomorrow <3 I just had the first anniversary of my second loss, which was my very hardest. It was the only time I had a gut feeling about the sex of my baby, and I was 100% sure it was the girl I'd always wanted. I had to stop looking at my Timehop, because I was seeing the videos I took of telling my H, and us telling our families, and going to Disney and wearing a "first visit" button on my shirt...gosh, it's just so bittersweet. Like you said, I always wonder what would have been. Thinking of you tonight and tomorrow <3

I'm a solid moderate politically but this administration makes me lose faith in humanity (without hyperbole), and the news this past week in particular has just felt crushing. And yes please to fall getting here. I hate 99% of everything summer, and I swear summer Seasonal Affective Disorder has to be a thing. Thanks for the reminder to see friends. I isolate when I'm moving toward/in depression, and I've definitely been withdrawing. You hang in there, too. My husband reminds me that this isn't a sprint, it's a marathon, and sometimes we need to take a breather and practice self-care.
