My two (almost three) year old pooped in the toilet. I’ve thrown away several pairs of shit filled underwear in the last week so I must tell everyone. SHE POOPED IN THE TOILET! That’s great!! My two (almost three) year old has no interest in potty training. She very clearly tells me “No Mommy, I’m not ready to sit on the potty. I don’t want to.” And I’ve heard trying to force it is the worst thing you could do so....here we are! Really looking forward to being done with toddler diapers for awhile.

sunfrogger I wish I had been on here earlier to reassure you that the IUD would be no big deal! I hope it was as easy for you as me. I was also very nervous. We are getting into our summer groove here. I'm so happy and relaxed to be home with the kids. It is wonderful. I 100% appreciate that I have a career that gives me 2 months off in the summer to spend with my kids. I need to remember this when I'm pissed off driving in to work when we go back (which happens sometimes when I get angry we don't have great maternity leave policies like some other countries!).

Ugh I just prepped bottles for tomorrow and thought I had pumped enough but I didn’t so I’m frustrated. To top it off he’s taking 16 ounces at daycare lately so I’m having to use freezer stash. I feel like I’m failing. Hugs! You are not failing you’re amazing for working and pumping! I seriously don’t know how you working moms do it. Can you sneak in another pumping session or rent a hospital grade pump? thank you ❤️I’m going to give it a few days and see where I go. I noticed it was taking longer for a let down too so I wonder if something was up with a flange/membrane. I’m hoping he’s just going through a growth spurt/teething with why he wants 4 bottles a day right now.

I feel like I’m failing. I sympathize, DS took 29 oz at daycare today. I pumped 25 but I'm going to have to start pumping after every feeding at home if I want to keep up. Hoping it was a fluke day and he goes back to his normal 23.

She takes 4 oz every 3 hours (every now and then she will take 5-6, but less than once a week) for 24 oz total plus usually one overnight nursing session. I guess she will let us know if she wants/needs more.

He’s always happy and his total amount of formula for the day is typically high, so I’m not concerned.

bassa two weeks ago I really thought we were going to have to pull her from the preschool we’re enrolled in for fall and other various activities. She wasn’t super resistant, but really not interested. And then it just, clicked. I may be bribing her with a fucking hatchimal, but just the last two days she’s actually telling me she needs to go. I’m surprised at the complete change in her attitude in potty training just in the last few days. My first hated pooping in her diaper, and by 15 Months was telling me she needed to poop and would do it on the toilet. But had zero interest in actually being potty trained. Like we tried at 2, and she would stare me down as she’d go in the corner and pee. Then one day I truly accidentally ran out of diapers and I told her she had to wear underwear until we bought more. And we just never did and that was that. 🤷🏼♀️ Kids are nuts.

I wish I had asked for a Xanax before my IUD appointment. Pants off waiting for the Dr. and I feel like I'm about to puke. Oh no! What’s making you so nervous about it? I hope you did ok. I just got really worked up and anxious about the pain. When I had the Foley done during both L&D it hurt really bad. Thankfully!!!!! I barely felt this at all. My Dr told me every time she did something and kept me talking the whole time. So, yay!!!

I feel like I’m failing. Can you add a pump during a drive? Maybe pump on the way to work? Im getting really busy at work and I'm thinking about adjusting my pump schedule to pump during a drive so I can cut down to 2 pumps during the work day sooner.

I'm definitely not pumping enough for 4 bottles right now, so we'll see.. But one boob puts out 4oz or slightly more at each pump, and she's not usually interested in the other side. We'll see what her weight looks like next week!

I don’t think I could honestly pump and drive. I’m on a lot of backroads before the highway and my commute is 45 minutes so it makes me nervous. Worst case I’ll add a session before I go to bed.

kbw I get it. I commute 40 min and it's mostly two lane rural highway. I pumped in the car last week and it was very difficult. It was pouring rain and I was stressed out. Additionally I didn't get as much as output (breast massage was almost impossible). I only do it if absolutely necessary.

I felt so silly for being psyched out but I just remember how much the foley hurt and the cervix a checks hurt and I'm a big baby. Lolol.

I've never had much luck with pumping during my commute either. It's a shame too b/c I have a 30 min drive each way. I just don't get much output if I'm not repeatedly using the letdown button and doing compressions/hands-on pumping. ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png)
