Giving H augmentin is horrible. He shudders everytime it touches his lips. I've now come to sitting on top of him, putting a little bit in his mouth and then shoving the bottle in there at lightening speed before he can spit out the meds.

tjanca22 I'm sorry for your rough night, and tp to your MIL. DH used to get febrile seizures as a kid. He had a lot of them. Like, a LOT. Good news is he eventually grew out of it (I guess his body eventually got better at regulating his temperature so it didn't spike so quick anymore?). Thank you for telling me this. Closet is 80% done and everyone is alive. Only one incident of snarkineas. He actually let me just read the directions and give him next steps. It was so easy this way! Why does he have to question me on every other project?! Ok, rant over. cookswithwine I'm sorry, but I laughed. Hope you don't smell of sour milk. jubilantsquirrel I am a sucker for pad Thai what'd you end up with? tgrimes I use the sit on move to give antacid meds. tjanca22 I'm sorry y'all have to deal with the febrile seizures. I'd never heard of them until a mom in my other BMB was dealing with them with one of her kids and now I feel like I know several people whose children have dealt with it. I hope he outgrows them quickly; I can imagine that would be stressful!

Well this day just went to hell. I had decided on the taco truck but we just got an email saying they had to cancel and will be here tomorrow instead. Except now it's too late to order one of the other lunches. Basically this is now the worst day ever and I hate everyone.  |

MH is giving me hourly updates on his temp (even if his temp is like 99). Every update comes with a recap of the two previous hours and a reminder of the last time it was whatever temp is on his mind.
He did go to the doc and got some meds as he always does three days into a cold when he convinces himself it's a sinus infection.
I need a vacation.

For my own recap, Trial Day 1 was as follows:
I arrive at 8:57 (because I had to pump in the parking garage before coming in) and the Court officer tells me to make sure I'm prompt from now on. (side eye)
Plaintiff's attorney (PA) gets in trouble with the judge.
We do jury selection and seat a jury.
We take a recess.
During the recess, the ceiling of the courtroom starts to leak profusely all of a sudden.
We move to a different courtroom.
Clerk tells me I can't have my iced coffee in there.
Jury comes back.
PA gives his opening statement in a weird, almost three-point stance, almost like he's about to snap a football.
I give my opening statement.
PA calls the Plaintiff to begin her testimony.
PA does a terrible job, is all over the place, is confusing AF.
I object eleventy times and move for a mistrial twice.
Back at it at 9 a.m. tomorrow.
Edit because I forgot a few things.
