It's 8:36am and I'm seriously considering making French fries or tater tots, because that's the only food that sounds remotely good right now. Do it!

My work has no air conditioning. I also have my office on the top floor. 6 flights of stairs in brutal heat. And we had a fire alarm this morning. So I've been up and down about 4 times already today. It's a high school so the smells are also...interesting.
I may actually throw up on someone before the day is done.

It's the first real day of my summer break! My mom came over to take R to soccer and play with his neighborhood friend, and I want to do something productive, but I also want to sit on the couch. I figure I can accomplish 3 things today and that won't be too overwhelming, but I'll still feel like I did something.

My OB doesn't see patients until 12 weeks based on LMP, unless there's a problem. So my first appointment isn't until 8/2. This is going to be so different from the constant monitoring I had with DD.

That would drive me nuts. They typically don’t see anyone until 8 weeks at my OB but I managed to get an U/S scheduled at 7. If the wait is driving you crazy in a couple weeks maybe they’d see you earlier?

MH had fries with his burger tonight and I planned on eating leftover lentil soup but it smelled terrible (even though I’ve had it 4x in the last two weeks) so I ended up eating most of his fries. Right there with you. Carbs were the only thing that sounded good to me last time I was KU but I’m trying not to gain nearly 50lbs again 😬

If the wait is driving you crazy in a couple weeks maybe they’d see you earlier? That’s what I’m thinking, if I’m going out of my mind with worry in a few weeks, I’ll give them a call and ask to be seen earlier. For now, I’m counting down the weeks...

Right there with you. Carbs were the only thing that sounded good to me last time I was KU but I’m trying not to gain nearly 50lbs again 😬 This is me lately. I'm nauseous all day but then at night I'm starving and end up eating all the carbs. I gained 10 lbs after my loss earlier this year so I'm trying not to gain too much during this pregnancy since I'm starting off 10 lbs heavier than I was when I got pregnant both of the other times. But I know in about a week I'll likely be throwing everything up so part of me is just embracing it.

I'm super worried about my weight gain. (Fun fact about me, I have lots of body image issues and I'm annoying af about obsessing over my weight) I gained close to 60 lbs with R because I just ate whatever. I JUST got rid of all of that weight (and I was overweight to begin with, so I was working on that) and the second I got the BFP I was off my strict diet and started eating all the things again. I need to get myself under control ASAP because there is no way I'm letting myself gain that much weight again. But seriously...my #1 craving is carbs. It's the worst.

My mom knows I can't even manage to make decisions about something happening next week, yet she texts me about suggestions for childcare once #2 arrives and gets irritated that I won't commit to her ideas right now. Maybe I should have held off on telling her. LOL.

stayingblonde I'm with you on the body image stuff. I was super sick with DD so only gained 24 lbs. It was all baby and I was back to my pre preg weight within a week after DD was born. Not because of anything I did but literally because I couldn't keep anything other than ginger water in my stomach. But now with the 1.5 years of TFAS, our loss, my hemorrhage etc. I gained like 20 lbs this year...so I'm basically starting where I ended with my pregnancy with DD. I've been eating way too much already but I'm sort of relying on being super sick in about a week...I'll obsess over body image and weight gain with you any time! @amc sorry you had to go through that! Like you I'm sort of letting things slide in first trimester as I'm worried I won't be able to stomach solid food at all fairly soon. I hope things go more smoothly for you this time around.

Got my beta HCG levels back today.. 5828! Yay! My last period was May 14 so I thought I was about 4+5 today but the levels for week 4 (according to Dr. Google) are 5-426 and for week 5 the range is 18-7,340. I’m guessing I may have ovulated early. Based on my levels I’m guessing I’m a few days further along? Maybe? That would explain the super strong positive I got two days prior to my missed period.

Got all my bloodwork and urine tests done today and they did repeat betas too. They only call if something doesn't look good...so I'm hoping for no phone calls tomorrow or Thursday. I hate waiting.

Hope you like February 18th:) The funny thing is I know my EDD is Feb 18th based on my last period. I also know how to calculate how far I am and when intro’ed last week I had the days right. BUT I did my math totally wrong yesterday in the weekly check in. I know exactly what I did and I’m 100% blaming on preggo brain haha 🤦🏼♀️🙈🤪yay for being EDD twins!!
