We are going to the splash park with my sister and nieces today. We are bring lunch and cocktails and hopefully the kids will play for a few hours!

Happy birthday klong11 !! S was up multiple times last night (which is unusual for him) and woke up this morning saying he doesn’t feel good. No fever, but just whiny, etc. mh still wants to go, but I’m on the fence. DNW to deal with a sick kid at an amusement park! |

I have the day off, but I'm up to go get my allergy shots. Then I'll head to Starbucks for my free birthday drink.  Other than that I'll just be hanging at the house, cleaning and packing. Cadence and I leave tomorrow morning to go to "Grandpa's Garden" for Father's Day weekend. Cadence is very excited for the beach. |

jewels if a kid knows he can go to an amusement park and complains that he isn’t feeling well, I wouldn’t take the risk either. What a bummer!

But he hasn’t eaten yet. I dunno what to do. We would want to leave in about 30 minutes so we have a bit of time to decide |

Morning! Just made blueberry muffins with the kiddos and now we are (impatiently) waiting for them to cool.
I need to do some stuff around the house this morning for my ILs’ visit, and hopefully get out for some flowers. Our long-awaited table is due b/n 1-4, DH is flying this afternoon, and then I have a book club meeting tonight (a woman I know is starting one, FX it doesn’t suck bc I’d love to participate in a good one!)

Cadence gave me a heart attack while I was in the shower. She came in quietly, then ripped the curtain back and yelled GOOD MORNING!
Mh took my frantic "OMGs" to mean it was a good time to come in and sing Happy Birthday.
Cadence wanted cake for breakfast (nope) and is very concerned as to why I'm not having a birthday party. LOL

Hi! Sorry i didn’t check in yesterday but i went back to work Tuesday and Wednesday and sent him to school but on both days they called me to pick him up because he said he wasn’t feeling well. It’s been a real struggle to get him to take the antibiotics and clear his nose. This morning though he woke up happy and i feel that he finally turned a corner. He slept in his bed all night and i had to wake him at 7:30 otherwise he would have slept longer. And he is starting to be able to breathe through his nose. Hopefully today is a good day at school for him. I of course have a sore throat and headache now.... |
