And the AC in our building (at work) is out. The super has no idea when it will be fixed. And for safety reasons it's impossible to open windows. Effffff....

Hi Everyone. taketheshot feel better soon! fierymama we are still plugging away with our deck too. I was hoping H would finish last night, but that shit is more complicated than it looks. I have also never mowed the lawn, and hopefully I never have to. My dad really freaked menl out as a kid, telling me how kids lose their legs and arms playing with lawn mowers... I still don't like to go near them.

I say this often lately, but thank the stars for Amazon Prime & $4 next day shipping. I just got a message from DC to bring in a white t-shirt on THURSDAY for DD's end of the year tie-dye party... You think they would give a little more notice?
Whatever. I just paid $10 for a white t-shirt that will be here tomorrow.

No. This was always my nightmare in our BK apartments, but we were able to open our windows. But still. NYC heat is the worrssttt. There seriously is no ETA? It's going to be 90 today! What about 311? Think that'd be of any help?

Peekaru so jealous of the france trip!! taketheshot I hope you feel better ASAP. Maybe have some Gatorade or salt water too, otherwise the water might just go through ya without helping. I am in a marketing meeting this morning but my mind is on getting ready for the weekend. I need to do some crafting to prepare for father’s day/wedding gifts tonight. Also laundry. So much laundry.

I am at the indoor playground, it's dead which is awesome. But there are two people here with their toddlers and they are all wearing shoes despite signs posted everywhere saying no shoes wear socks. This annoys me that they are not following the rules

Re: lawn mowing. I worked for a landscaper one summer in high school and mowed all the lawns. Haven't done it since, but we also live in a place where yards are few and far between.
