Since we were just talking about Disney movies yesterday, have y’all seen they’re making a live-action version of Dumbo? The trailer just popped up on my FB, I think Tim Burton is involved. So the original was freaky and terrifying enough on it's own? Ha, yeah that was kind of my thought. I'm sure they're fleshing out the story somewhat, this time there are kids involved (like, you see snippets with children that I'm assuming are maybe an elephant keeper's kids).

Wait, so this is another Jungle Book, not JB 2 or something? From the looks of it it's a different kid and basically the same story. Lame. Although it has Christian Bale so I might be able to watch it. CB always seemed the type who was too stuck up for major Hollywood stuff, like he wanted to get out of the Batman franchise as soon as possible even though he was the best one. I haven't seen him in anything lately and I wonder if JB is his attempt to get a paycheck and back in the game. Perhaps his independent projects weren't working out. I just know I like to look at him. Is he in it or just a voice? Oh, I bet you're right. I can pass on that then because I need to be able to look at him.

Good Luck to YH inthekitty ! lfig I kinda love the idea of having generations of dogs in the generations of your family. I wonder does it make losing a pet a little less painful? I was watching videos of my dog playing with my kids when they were babies and I just miss his little personality. I wouldn’t say it makes it any less painful...but it just brings another layer into it that is sentimental. Our first lab (Xena) lived to 13 years old. But we got our 2nd lab (Kona) about 2 years before the 1st died. And it was special knowing we still had a “piece” of her with us. Then Kona was bit by a snake and died at only 5 years old. It was about 6 months after that before we got Java our current lab. But again, coming from a litter mate of Kona’s made it more special to us.

Hi! Busy day at work... busy week actually. I’m off the rest of the week tho so i can’t complain! Hopefully coworker can keep up with my work while I’m gone.
I spent 3 hours on Saturday trying to fix our cordless blinds from out bedroom and failed miserably. So I need to call around at lunch and see if there is anyone who can fix them. We’re really classy with a sheet covering our window right now.

What are y'alls thoughts? I think it's possible. A lot of people I know want to at least split into 2 different states. 3 makes some sense political voting wise. From Orange County and below tend to be republican. The middle of the state tends to vote democratic and the top part tends to be more Green Party/other party. I'm not sure my personal feelings on this. Some instances I see the benefits. Other instances I see this as a negative. I'll have to research about this particular split to see how it would impact us. We live in LA County but both my husband and I work in Orange County. At one point there were 4 different petitions on how to split the state. Sorry probably not the answer you were looking for. I'm still processing researching.

To say each part of the state has a certain, separate identity is accurate but putting San Diego in the same basket as Fresno? And calling Tulare and those other toothless hillbilly counties "Southern CA?" LOL NO. Those are widely considered to be "Central Valley." I'd like to get away from those red counties, TBH, but considering that's a huge agricultural area I don't see it working out well.

What would splitting the state accomplish exactly? Sorry if that's a dumb question.

What would splitting the state accomplish exactly? Sorry if that's a dumb question. The states population is not evenly distributed so the thought is break up the state based on "values" or political views. That way people can get "better" representation. There is a ton of interest but there are at least 4 different ways people want to divide the state. Looking at it. I agree with cagoldi it won't pass since no one can agree on how to divide it up.

The bode miller story is horrific, my heart hurts for them. I once explained to my sister that going to any beach/lake/pool with two little kids isn’t ‘relaxing’ (that’s what she said) but could be compared to going to the gym, combined with an anxious feeling.

I don't think I wrote anything this morning! Hi!!! I've decided to let the whole leave of absence thing go. It's his choice to bond with his family or not. My parents are here and I have support I need so I won't spiral out.
LO went to school today. Hoping to get him back on his routine to get him back into normal behavior. C is staying at a friend house tonight because he is closing then opening for work. Should give him 2 extra hours of sleep. My mom, E and I are going to go on a target run as soon as my parents get home from Disneyland. I need some baby nail files and some medicine for me.

Okay, I have a personal question and I'm hoping this isn't too much TMI, but does anyone have a leaking problem? When I run, I'm ridiculously embarassed after. I do not have a problem in my daily life, only when I run. I'll talk to the doctor about it, whenever I get set up as a patient. Or is it something I should call my Ob about?

Our pool just opened and I am crazy about alarms and locked doors and gates. You can never be too careful. We were talking about that this weekend at my neighbors grad party, we use their pool all the time. They have a fence because insurance says they have to. But a pond doesn't require one. My dad wants us to put in a pond (our lot is better suited for it than his) and I told him not until all my kids are great swimmers.

mwhip there are gyno’s that specialize in urology (urogynocologist, I think it’s called?); there may be one in your OB practice or they could refer you out if not, I’m sure.

chrisy01 and cagoldi thanks for your perspective, I was just curious. I have heard rumblings before but this was the first I’ve ever seen it make it onto a ballot. We have friends out there with the military, obviously, but most of them don’t claim residency bc of tax laws, etc. so I just thought I’d put it to y’all.

Have to leave early bc there are road closures for a movie being filmed, rumor has it that it's wonder woman!
I'd be shocked if Cali broke up..Granted I never thought we'd be fighting with Canada and bff's with a dictator, actively separating little kids from parents, or denying asylum to victims of domestic violence...so what do we think the state names would be?

It's definitely something you could ask your OB about. I promise I"m not paid by this workout program, but have you done any exercises for your pelvic floor? Basically like kegels and lower abdominal exercises. Leaking can sometimes just be that your pelvic floor is weak. It happens a lot after pregnancy/delivery.

I don't have the issue when I'm walking. What's this workout program you are selling? :-) Tell me more because I'm so embarassed and it causes me to leave the gym earlier than I would like. Not that anyone would notice that the fat 41 year old mom looks like she peed her pants, but anyway.

I got it for the diastasis recti program so I can't really comment on the other exercise programs she has on there. So it's a combination of bringing your belly button to your spine while doing a kegel. She says you want to think more of closing your sphincter and not just a kegel though. She calls it bracing.

They did work and I just have to keep on top of them. This is what I have bookmarked: www.healthline.com/health/fitness-exercise/pelvic-floor-exercisesThe bridge and the bird dog worked really well
