I don't know how busy it is over here, but I figured I'd post for some suggestions anyway. MH and I are expecting DS2 in September and while we really just started talking names over the weekend, I feel like we're starting from very different starting points.
DS1 is Ry.an Jos.eph and I feel like we barely had to discuss his name. I liked it and suggested it, MH liked it and agreed, and almost 2 years later I still love it. I like more easily spelled/pronounced Irish names but my large Irish family knocks out a lot of good ones. Not sure MH really has a specific style - most of his suggestions so far have been B names since he spent some of yesterday paging through a Baby Name book and only make it up to the E's so far.
My suggestions for DS2 so far (and other names I like but won't use for reasons noted below):
Rory
Logan
Nolan (MH doesn't like it, plus with DS1's name all thoughts go to the baseball player)
Brady (I like this a lot, but as a Patriots fan everyone will assume it's for Tom Brady)
MH's suggestions for DS2 so far:
William
Blake (I pointed out this may not be a good suggestion considering DS1's name and who Blake Lively is married to)
Brock
Bradley (I don't dislike this, but I don't like the nickname Brad thanks to a specific someone at work)
Marcus (I don't dislike this either, but I'm not sure it feels right to me)
Middle name, while we haven't talked about it at all yet could likely be John for MH's grandfather since Joseph is for mine. If we were ever to use Rory I would find a variant of John that we both liked to avoid DS1 and DS2 having the exact same initials.
I figure asking for suggestions wouldn't hurt! Thanks!
