I saw some stuff about it on Facebook too, but couldn’t find any name their either. |

And listen, I've watched press secretaries for years. It's the JOB of the press to hold the government accountable. The Obama and Bush administrations have even directly said things to the effect of, "You guys drive us nuts sometimes but we know you're just protecting the American people." Jay Carney was especially on top of that sentiment, in my recollection. But the difference here is, "You ask a lot of questions that are designed to bait me and sometimes you publish something that's misleading or untrue and that makes us unhappy" and "MY GAWD YOU ALL ARE EVIL AND ALSO THE DEVIL AND WHY DO YOU LIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEE"

If all these years I thought anybody cared I would have been telling y'all about the minutia of the daily briefings but until January 2017 they were mostly like this

no, literally, that's what the briefings were like before Trump. It was a white guy blandly offering professionally written and proof-read statements from the White House and then answering questions about beaureaucratic.....stuff.

Hi guys. I’ve been absent. I needed a break from politics but have been keeping one ear out and I voted, of course. Big news - SF elects first ever African American Mayor, London Breed! It took a week to declare a winner, but she is amazing and I’m so happy she won. I saw this story last night and immediately thought of you. So cool! |

DMV folks, there is a permitted Families Belong Together rally tomorrow evening at the Capitol. There are other rallies being held tomorrow as a larger action across the country - find them at familiesbelong.org/. Just came to post this.
