Fantastic Friday (Finally!!!)

I have my fingers crossed it's going to be a great day!  It's safety early out day, we are having drinks at work and I'm motivated to get stuff done!

Morning! We are meeting friends at the pool this afternoon. I may take the girls to the garden center this morning but I haven’t decided how motivated I am yet.

mwhip I'm not sure. E just passed all the health tests so it all depends on my tests and if we see all the different people we still have to get blessings from. The earliest would be this afternoon. The latest unless something unexpected happens, would be tomorrow morning after breakfast but before lunch.

I've gotten maybe 3 hours total so far. C literally slept through all of E's crying. She really loves to be held or be eating.

C and I are suppose to get a celebration breakfast this morning in honor of E since C left for work yesterday before breakfast was served. That was longer then I expected. Sorry.

Cadence loved her dance class last night, so it looks like we'll stick with that school for the fall. I'm just amazed they were able to keep the kids engaged for an entire hour!
She, unfortunately, had a bad day at school. Her teacher said she must have left her listening ears at home. Girl was probably just hangry all day since she didn't eat lunch!

Last night was just a cluster. We ended up with a clog in the main pipe in our house and had to have the septic company come out to vacuum it. It caused a leak in the basement., no damage, just wet
Then the smoke alarm in our upstairs hallway started chirping bc the batteries at 2:30. I finally fell sleep at 4, only to be awoken by Charlie at 5:15 and Josie at 6.
I'm solo with both kids for a wedding rehearsal and lunch that is about an hour and a half away.
I didn't get to my mani/pedi yesterday, so I'm polishing my nails with Josie's Elena of Avalor make up set.
Thankfully, I have an appointment tomorrow morning.
I am currently done complaining and will go back to being chipper!

I took the day off today because I had my annual exam this morning and had flex time to use. C and I had a Dunkins date this morning and he was so happy to spend extra time with me. I’m headed to Target soon then catching up on my shows.

Morning! Lucas doesn’t have summer school on fridays, so I was hoping to sleep in a bit today, so of course C has been up since 5:45. Oh well. I’m going to hit the gym and then the grocery store and then I have to drive across town for a dr app for Lucas. After that we’re going to spend the afternoon at the pool and then it’s Pizza and beer night!

Quiet day here, I think we’re just going to be out by the pool this afternoon. B is absolutely dying to swim.

Speaking of, the visit with our house’s owner last night went great! We are definitely on the same page and he also thinks the management company is incompetent, at best. The guy is a SEAL and I think mH now has a man-crush on him 😂

So true—it’s never in the middle of the day 🙄

In one of the few cool things about this house, our smoke detectors have a light that comes on when the batteries are getting low. (The light shines down, it’s not just a tiny little dot, so you can’t miss it). Then it chirps if you don’t replace them within a day or two of that. I will be installing this kind in all future houses.

Morning. I got woken up last night by O who had a fever. Now I’m at the Dr with him because i think he has strep. He’s pretty miserable so i hope we get this sorted so he can start feeling better.

flamingo those smoke detectors are genius. Are they the kind that are tied in together, so if one goes off, in the case of an actual fire, they all do? I'd look into them if they are.

Anyone else crushed by Anthony Bourdain news? His show was one of the few that we both liked and would put on a rerun whenever it was on. What a loss. And I'm still sad about Kate Spade. Depression does not discriminate, ugh.

And N is home for the 5th day this week, what a freaking cluster.

Morning ladies! In 36 minutes my weekend starts and it couldn’t come faster!!! I’m exhausted and I broke my own rule about not making any plans on Friday evening and I’m already regretting it. I just taught three classes and one of them was a nightmare, dd has a fever and I just want to eat fries and sleep!

Yes, very sad about Anthony Bourdain. I didn’t watch his show regularly but I just hate seeing things like this. Kate Spade, too. It always seems like celebrities go in 3’s, I’m kind of waiting for the next one ☹️

It already happened.  The Dutch queen's sister committed suicide this week, as well.
