My OB never mentioned panorama or Natera. Is this something you guys sought out on your own? You are probably too young! 😉 Once you are AMA they bring it up to you at your first appt.

flippinchica, me too. I can't wait. My doctor said it takes about 10 business days but on the Natera website it said 5-7 calendar days so hopefully it the earlier of the dates Last pregnancy I did maternity 21 and I think it took 8 calendar days. (The second draw. The first one FedEx lost my blood) Goodness. Lost blood. Shudder. Did they find it?

I finally got an avatar!
Today was my DD's 3rd birthday so we went to the splash pad. They had a blast. She requested cheeseburgers (which she didn't eat) and Mac n cheese for dinner. It's hot as balls out and I'm about done for the day.

It was in the tubes though. I called after 2 weeks of no results and it turned out they had never received it. At that point it was too old to test so it had to be drawn again anyway.

sweetsurprise I'm pretty sure those extra blood tests are if you are considered "high risk" by any means, or over the age of 35. Otherwise, you can ask to get it, but it costs an arm and a leg if you don't medically qualify for it to be covered.

My sister borrowed me her doppler so I tried it out today. Unsuccessful but I found my own hb...even that took some time. My sis said she was much further along before she found baby's hb so I'm not really worried.
I had a neurologist appointment today and since I love how down to earth she is. She gave me a huge hug and then when I told her about my seizure on Saturday she said "shit." Not what she wanted to hear. Med increase and blood work in 10 days. I went through this last pregnancy so it's not new territory.

I've been MIA with a crazy busy weekend. The last thing I said to DH after we crawled into bed was that I felt like I needed a vacation after the weekend was over lol DS who is 26 months doesn't nap anymore so there is usually not a lot of downtime for us on the weekends. Add in being pregnant and I feel like it's really kicking my butt. Also last pregnancy I bought a home Doppler (unfortunately the day after I ordered it we found out our angel had passed) but I am slowly coming around to the idea of testing it out this time. I'm 8w3d and jw if anyone else has used one and knows if you can start to hear it around this time?? Don't want to try and then set off my PGAL brain when I can't hear it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ive always waited until 9 weeks to try, but have found it after some looking at that time.

Both offices I've gone to offer it to everyone, you just have to check with the company you're going through how much it'll cost.

We didn't do it last time but haven't decided this time. I want to know the sex earlier, but I don't want to know the genetic stuff. Unless it says all good but no way to know that.

I've been trying to research if any of the testing would work for us with twins but I see mixed info. I'll need to talk to the doctor and see if any would work. I'd love to know what team we are on early too...

teraiin, I was looking on the Panorama (Natera) website yesterday just to check everything that they test for and it said that it can't be used for multiples. I'm not sure if there is another option but I know that Panorama isn't one.

I have a friend who had testing done for her twins. Not sure which test tho. It told her that one of the babies had to be a boy because there was Y chromosome in the results (so clearly not from mom lol) but they couldn't tell her if the other baby was a girl or boy from the bloodwork (it's also a boy). Had there been no Y present they would have known both babies were girls. Since yours are identical you would know both right away!

If you guys just want to know sex and not the other stuff check out Sneak Peek! That is what I am using. It can be used as early as 9 weeks. I found a coupon code on their FB so it was $60 something, cheaper than an elective ultrasound here.

It appears materniti21 can be used for twins www.sequenom.com/uploads/collateral/MaterniT-21-PLUS-core-patient-brochure_Rep-1036-v1-0117.pdf
