Anyone gotten bitten yet? I told my baby to stop trying to be a little zombie. But actually I have to teach her no. I say it in a really serous voice. No donāt bite mama. Yes. I say no and then try again. If she bites a second time I stop the feeding for a few minutes and then try again. Sometimes she's biting because she's bored and not interested in the feeding.

Noah bites me all the time. Like sitting on the floor playing and bite! I say no and he laughs and bites again. I use my stern voice and he laughs more and bites again.
When do we start disciplining? Like we say no or donāt do that a lot and he ignores us. š³ i donāt want to raise a bratty kid!!

I donāt think you can discipline them and it do anything good until they mildly get the concept right? 2nd time moms can come help me. Iām drowning and being bitten on the way down. Some one told me to bite her back! Sheās not trying to hurt me sheās teething. Sheās already hurting. Iām not going to bite her. Agreed! Iām always like DH. Just... whatās the point? He will keep biting because he doesnāt get what No means. Or maybe he does and heās playing us but š¤·š»āāļø And yes. He bites everrrrrything and does it bc heās teething and thatās part of how he learns. So Iāll just KOKO.

I would try to teach āno.ā We are not being bitten, but Iām trying ānoā when she crawls to the mud room to play with shoes. We say ānoā and move her. So, with biting Iād say ānoā and either redirect to a chew toy or put them on the floor if youāre holding them.

And omg that someone told you to bite her back. That's...something. I wouldn't even do that with my 3 year old.

Mine thinks biting is hilarious! But I say āouch!, no and then set her down. All you can do is redirect their attention at this point.
DD randomly slept all night Friday night and Iāve had a huge blocked milk duct ever since. Thanks but no thanks for that part. And it didnāt do me much good sleep wise bc DS wakes up so darn much at night. Someday Iāll sleep! Maybe by kindergarten.

J slept a Nice 6 hour stretch then was up after 2 hours and wouldn't go back to sleep. I ended up sleeping on the floor with him for another 2 hours because I was afraid to sleep in the chair. He slept great...i didnt. Now we have a 2.5 hour drive to my parents. At least there is a Starbucks on the way???

We did not have a good night sleep here. Is it leap 7 messing with me? Hope itās just a one off. She was up like every 3 hours, the last being at 6:00 but she surprised me by at least falling back in her crib till 8:00. Why is sleep such a mystery with babies sometimes?? Gahhhh GL on the drive king26!

I still wear j in stores but I have a cart cover. Do they make highchair covers for restaurants? @easilyunamused and jt2378, I just started using the cart cover bc it's so gross. I never did with ds1 bc he didn't mouth things as much. The one I have is used for both, I just keep it in the car at a times.

I say no and redirect. To me, he already āgetsā it because he seemingly knows heās not to play with the blinds because he squeals and laughs mischievously when he thinks Iām not able to grab him right away. Lol
Sorry for the rough night ladies!

Lol Sorry for the rough night ladies! Well yeah I think this is N, too. I think he gets what NO means b he always smiles and laughs, or looks at us and then turns around and continues to either bite me or pull the books/DVDās off the shelf. (We finally moved the dvds and books yesterday haha. So I THINK he gets it. But then DH is like āN, that hurts mommy. Donāt do that please.ā And Iām like.... I donāt think he knows what that means but KOKO trying to reason with the kid lol. I shall continue to gently say no and redirect I guess. Sometimes I try to raise my voice and be stern but then he smiles and laughs and it makes me smile too much and Iām like DAMMIT KID! Haha. š¤¦š»āāļø

I gave DS a granola bar as a snack and turned around to make something for E. Turned back to them and she's eating his granola bar. Ok then. Guess I'll put the blueberries and yogurt back...

So forthe past 2 nights D. started in her own bed but after waking up over and over ended up in bed with me and slept there the rest of the night. She slept great, I got my rest as well. I kept McKennas safety guidelines in mind. I love getting my rest but at the same time wonder whether it isn't counterproductive on the long run. Will she want to go bad ok to her own bed?? She sleeps fine in the crib for naps and all.. She s also stuffed and sniffly so maybe she's just wasn't feeling well.. plus this leap. Aahhhhh
