Morning!
The drive back yesterday wasn’t too bad. Boys did well and we got back early afternoon.
M2 spiked a fever night before last. We dosed him with Tylenol and I thought it broke for good, but it came back after a late nap yesterday evening. He was pretty clingy and whiny after that. I’m taking him in to get seen today. We had an appointment to check his ears Thursday from the last ear infection, so I’m wondering if this is another. He’s pretty snotty and usually his colds are accompanied by an EI. I blame my ILs house. We had to sleep with fan on when we were there because it gets so hot upstairs. We never sleep with the fan on because I usually end up with a cold if I do. I guess M2 takes after me.

On the pit drip. They just did blood work, I should know in 1/2 hour if I can get the epi. I'm going to try and nap a bit.

Got to the allergy clinic this morning and their power was out, soooo no allergy shots today. Gives my arm a little time to heal, since they bruised me last time. I go again on Thursday. dapostrophe YAY! I love baby day!!! |

Do your kids play in their rooms? Just in the last week or so, Josie has been asking to go up stairs randomly to go play with the stuffed animals in her room. She doesn't have any toys in there so she takes her hats and jewelry and sunglasses out from her closet and dresses them up.

We did that so if he woke up and didn't go back to sleep he can Jew himself entertained. He's in there now because he wants to wait for grandma to give home breakfast. |

She doesn't have any toys in there so she takes her hats and jewelry and sunglasses out from her closet and dresses them up. Colin has a decent amount of toys that we don't want Chase to get his hands (really his mouth) on - Legos Juniors sets, small bouncy balls, etc. So playing in his room is quite the treat for Colin because he gets to take his bag of smaller toys out and play with them to his hearts content. Honestly though, he's probably up there for about an hour all week. He'd much rather play sports downstairs or spend his time outside. |

She also drags shit out and brings it to the living room just as much. She will also take her tablet and go watch YouTube videos laying in her bed if she needs some quiet time. Her bedroom and playroom are right off our living room though, so she can yell at us if she needs to. |

What board games are your kids playing? I'm going to order Sorry and High Ho Cherry O off Amazon, but didn't know if there were others that are good for this age.

Cadence rarely plays in her room, certainly not by herself. She tends to play in my room (the sitting area in the master is basically a toy room). I love that she plays so well independently, though. It used to be she wouldn't even leave the room without one of us.

M will play in his room from time to time. He usually will say he is scared to be in his room alone, but sometimes he forgets and will play or watch his tablet by himself in his room for up to an hour.
