I'm totally having pity party for myself. I'm just like, I already have just one tube and half a uterus, isn't that enough problems for one person lol. Now I have to figure out what else is going on. It just sucks. That is totally unfair! I'll come to your party and bring a cake. Thanks ❤️ And now I really want some chocolate cake lol.

Thanks sunny75 My stupid charts are what always give me some little bit of hope. I do hope it works out sometime in the next 2 cycles so that I don't have to be the one pulling the plug. SO is supportive of whatever my decisions are, but I also know how much he wants another. Any symptoms for you? I've felt a sharp pinching a few times but I think if that meant anything I would have a positive test by now. So nothing really besides usual PMS. It does give me hope though that you've never gotten a positive before 13 dpo! ❤️ With DD it was 14 dpo (I didn't test any earlier but the line was still pretty light so no way it would have been there before at least 12 or 13 dpo). With our loss I got my positive at 13dpo and a negative at 12dpo. It's why for me early testing is so silly. No way would I see anything before 13 dpo. So if I test early and it's negative it means nothing to me and I just keep peeing on things and staring at blank tests. I say have hope until AF actually shows.

My chart is out of whack and I'm waiting for AF. Impatiently waiting for AF so we can start trying. Of course this cycle would be longer!

Don't want to take this to the IF board beause I feel safer with you guys. And I know a number of you play over there as well so I'm going to put this here.
I'm getting pretty close to being done with this whole TTC process. I am still going to keep trying up until our RE appointment (I will likely O right around the day of the appointment so that will be our *last* cycle). SO knows I'm pretty much done with this BUT thinks we should do 1 IVF cycle before we throw in the towel if we are still not pregnant by our appointment (so really our next cycle...possibly 2). One round of IVF (single transfer only) is covered through our provincial health care and I'm pretty sure the drugs are covered through my work plan (or at least a good portion) so the cycle would likely cost us at most 350$ OOP (so says my research). So financially it's not an issue. We are covered provincial for as many rounds of IUI as we like but with our ages the probability of an IUI being successful aren't great.
What are your thoughts on skipping TI and IUI and asking about going directly to IVF? I would only want to do 1 cycle...but I'll be 39.5 and SO will be 51.5 so I feel like we might as well throw our best eggs at it while there might still be some there. And the at least SO can feel like we gave it our best shot.
Thoughts?

sammysam I don't know what TI is, but doesn't IUI only have a slight single digit % improvement of your chances? I would want to go right to IVF.

sammysam it wouldn't make sense to me at all to try all those other things before IVF when a) you have factors that make them less appealing anyways and b) it's not a financial issue. That said, IVF is no small undertaking physically and emotionally, so if you don't want to do it you don't have to, not even for YH's sake. I know you *know* that but guilt can be a loud and clouding voice in our heads so I just wanted to say it, just in case. In all honesty I'd personally skip my way into an IVF scenario right now if we were in that province still. Unfortunately it's not covered at all here yet!

Tlex Yogurt Thanks guys❤ I just wanted to make sure it didn't sound insanely crazy. I'm still torn as to what I want to do. Whether we go out guns blazing and give it all we've got or just call it a day. DD very adamantly does not want a sibling. And since I've been parenting on my own since she was 11 months old I'm not sure exactly how I would handle 2 with virtually no help. We're still looking at approximately 1.5 years of living apart before things might start to settle. And Tlex thank you for saying that. It does help to hear it from someone else. Also pretty big temp drop today to I imagine AF will be here by tomorrow. I'll be angry if it's here today because that would mean my LP is shorter than normal. Poop.

You guys are awesome:) And you're making me cry. At work. Gah.
I'm going to keep peeing on things the next couple of days and so long as the line is still there I'm hopeful. Part of me still thinks when I go home my test will be blank and it will all have been in my head.
Also, for anyone interested, I had a totally negative OPK yesterday (I said I would continue the experiment), and FF only gave me 5 points and said my temperature fluctuates more than normal so it could not identify a trend.
I'm still not convinced this is real.
It's only 10 dpo. I have never gotten a positive this early. But my cramps are out of control and that plus this morning's temp drop still has me worried this won't be real.

Not even kidding. Screw them. I got a seat on the train at morning rush hour! Suckas. Now that I’m at my desk, have triaged emails, and made some tea, talk me through your symptoms. I’ve got all my fingers crossed that it’s real.

sammysam AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I get the urge to remain guarded but FF says temps mean nothing after a BFP and early cramping is beyond totally normal, so tell those voices to sit down, because today you are pregnant!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Now that I’m at my desk, have triaged emails, and made some tea, talk me through your symptoms. I’ve got all my fingers crossed that it’s real. Hahaha. I love you! My symptoms are pretty basic. I had increased CM this cycle which was the only thing slightly different. My boobs got sore right after O (as they always do) but they were much more tender than usual...and they grew a bit (I am small chested so this is always a pleasant side effect). Other than that just cramps for the past few days and food aversions this morning (I had HG with DD starting at 6 weeks..with my loss I wasn't as sick as with DD and didn't start throwing up until around 10 weeks). Oh and back ache! It started yesterday. And I had a dream last night that I was pregnant. So no real symptoms. Which I guess is always my biggest indicator:) Thanks for asking. I'm not telling anyone IRL for now so it's nice to have people who care:) I think sticking to EOD helped. I'm so hoping this is for real!

Thanks Tlex . I didn't know that about temps after a bfp. That makes me feel so much better! You guys are my people and have been for over a year and a half. If indeed I get out of here there had better be many more of you coming along. I think I might be totally lost without you all and all the support you guys give me. It is something that is sorely missing for me IRL.
