nam2013, I'd be hurt too because it sounds like it wasn't just something she thought she would like, but rather something she KNEW you wouldn't like and that's why she got it. This. I wouldn't feel hurt, but definitely annoyed. |

P slept 9:30 to 5:30. Of course I had trouble sleeping though. Isn't that how it always works? But she can scream at me all she wants if she's going to start sleeping this well. I'm not holding my breath. I know better since Atticus started STTN at 8 weeks, then abruptly stopped at twelve, and didn't do it again consistently until he was around 16 months.

Morning. I’m trying to get through to B that if wakes up before his sun that he needs to stay in his room, we have a 30% success rate as of this morning since he was traipsing around the house by 6.13am, and by 7.07am he was yelling that he wanted to lay down somewhere.
Should be a good day 👍🏻

Returnpolicies are very different over here, it will just make its way to the attic in no time  . I think I normally wouldn’t be hurt (say if one of my own sisters had given it), but this is just one thing in a long line of very little things. |

nam2013 yes, I think annoyed is the right word. Sounds like for whatever reason she was trying to needle you a bit. Some people are just oblivious gift-givers, so it *could* be an innocent mistake, but comments you've made about your SIL in the past make me think this was intentional. So silly. Even if I disagreed with a parent's philosophy/opinion on a particular item, I wouldn't give their child that item just to make a point.

Morning! We made blueberry muffins for breakfast and now B and DH are out doing some yard work in the back.
Otherwise should be a quiet day, I think we're going to go out to eat tonight at a place on the water.

Morning! I drank too much beer last night so I'm moving slow. Drinking some coffee then need to make breakfast.
I'll sweat the beer out when I mow the yard. Then just cleaning the house up. Going to the in laws for dinner this evening so no nap.

I had to go for bloodwork for my annual on Friday so Dh took C to ninja alone. I’m now watching Botched with my coffee in peace.
It’s a bit chilly here today but nice out so I’m hoping to convince Dh to go on a family bike ride with C and I. Usually it’s just me and C but it would be nice to have Dh there. A new trampoline park just opened too so we may check that out if C is bursting with energy.

Headed to the flea market to try and walk baby out, but it did not work at the farmer's market yesterday, so I am guessing baby day won't be until tomorrow am.

MH took off the training wheels off of B’s bike, and off he went!
His bike is a little small but when he’s comfortable riding without the training wheels we’ll upgrade.

Pete and Atticus came back from grandpa's and now all the boys are on a walk. I'm sitting enjoying a few minutes of silence.
After nap we're planning to swim and Dude is ridiculously excited about his rocket pop shaped pool float.

Morning. I tried to sleep in a bit this morning but it didn’t really pan out because S kept coming in my room whining at me. Her temp is down right now but we will see how she is after nap, it spiked then yesterday. DH took the girls on a bike ride to the park and I’m sitting in my car about to go into work in a second. It’s cool but windy as crap so that’s annoying. After I get home from work I think we might do something with friends.

C has a team meeting today, he should be home by lunch. I slept bad again. So Jake and the Neverland Pirates is parenting right now. LO doesn't want me to sleep so I'm just trying to relax.
