I think the lake is gorgeous.
The water and mountains rising up around you is stunning.

I’m so jealous right now. I think I like #2 the best with 1 a close second.

I love them all! I’d probably pick number 1, just because it literally took my breath away first.

I vote #1. Just don't get excited and fall off.

Creepy lurker, but we got married at location number 1. Husband is a Kiwi and from Wanaka, so the location obviously made sense. If you chose that location and need recommendations, we can give you some!

I’m sorry these are your only choices. You should probably just cancel the whole thing and live a life of single blessedness.
😉
I don’t think there’s a bad option among them.

[/quote] I think you can do no wrong in any of these spots, but I’m definitely partial to number 1! But I will say, Wanaka, as a small town, has limited options, if you are bothered by things like that. I was less than thrilled with my hair and makeup, which were done by one of the salons there. Shameless opportunity to show one of our wedding photos.

You can’t go wrong. I would choose the option that allows for complete privacy, as the photos wouldn’t be as nice if others were in them.

I am in awe at how beautiful these places are...just wow. Stupid question...I know you said it's summer for you, so does that mean the lake wouldn't have the snow-capped mountains, then? I absolutely love number two bc of the snow, but if there's no snow, then number one.

Beautiful - just gorgeous. I’d go #1, with #3 as a close runner up. Which option gives you assurance of total privacy? If it was 3, then I’d change and pick that one instead. I just wouldn’t want to feel rushed or worried about someone else being in the shot or waiting their turn. This is going to be a great moment- I’d want to make sure it was all mine.

Not gonna choose.

I absolutely love number two bc of the snow, but if there's no snow, then number one. It’s high enough that there is some snow all the time.
