Halfway there guys!

Faith had her 4 month appt yesterday, she weighs 13 pounds, 7 ounces and is 24.5 inches tall and right on track. She is still boycotting good sleep at day care but I expected that with the change in routine and environment, so she was REALLY tired yesterday and had a melt down even before her shots and an even bigger meltdown after. She slept on the way home and I just left her in her car seat until she woke up and she slept about 45 minutes. She was fussy for another hour or so, but was fine after that.

She fought sleep (not fussy, just awake) until 9:00 when we finally got her to sleep, but she slept from 9:00 to 6:30 without a real wakeup! I fed her at 11:00 but I don't think she opened her eyes. Two nights in a row without a wakeup, I'm calling that a trend!

DH has what he calls "Hawaiian Shirt Wednesday" where he will wear a Hawaiian print shirt (except in winter, I think the cutoff is 50 degrees). Today is Faith's first time participating with him so I took a picture before they left the house. So cute!

Good morning!
I am attempting to potty train G today. I have her in panties. Pray for my sanity. I have no other big plans today. Maybe some laundry.

DD turned 3 months last week.


DS turned four on Sunday. We went on a duck walk yesterday to a local pond with his preschool.

I’m so sleepy today 😴. DD2 only had about 14 oz throughout the day yesterday so I had a feeling we were in for a long night. I was right! Just as I was about to fall asleep early (9:30!), she woke up. Gave her 4oz and then back to sleep. Then she was up again at 2am and sucked down another 6oz. When I got her up at 6, she was acting like she was starving again. I managed to get her to daycare so they could do the feeding and she ate 8oz! She must be hitting a growth spurt? That’s the only thing I can think of. She is 3.5 mo old so I know 4 mo regression is knocking at our door. Maybe this is it?

Thanks! I am not really a drinker but maybe I will be by the end of the day. Lol

I think we may try some solids tonight with Faith if she isn't too cranky/sleepy after a full day of daycare. I have some oatmeal cereal on hand so we will see what she thinks.

I just ordered a new bottle cooler on Amazon, so cute! It is supposed to be tall enough for the 8 ounce Dr. Brown's bottles that we are using. I also ordered some bottle caps because this morning daycare called me saying all of her bottles had leaked HALF of the formula out. I had to take new bottles over, glad I live less than a mile away. These new stage 2 nipples just let the formula pour out if they get tipped over...

Hey ladies! Little has been thinking it’s a great idea to wake up at 5:30 and needless to say I am exhausted. H went OOT this morning but thankfully will be back on Friday. My stroller broke over the weekend and it’s been really cramping by style. They are sending me a new frame but it doesn’t arrive until Tuesday! 😭 we normally walk multiple times a day. I think we’ll hit target today and maybe go to chick fil a. Coffee is ready. I’ll be back in a bit with some pictures of my boys.

DD has been chomping down formula for the past few days, taking in over 32 oz each day. I know that they don't want babies drinking much more than what she is, but at only 3.5 months adjusted they also don't seem to want babies eating solids. I've put a call in to the NICU nutritionist, but I'm getting antsy to hear back. DD gained 8 oz this week , and is up to 12lbs 4oz.

She has a physio checkup tomorrow to look at her head again and confirm that she is hitting her milestones. I think it's getting better, but we will see what they say.

mrsp84, that is us too. Either a growth spurt, leap, sleep regression or all of the above. I'm just trying to survive it.

We were all awake all night, it seemed. My DH and DS were awake a lot too, so I'm sure we'll all be cranky this afternoon/evening.

Big day here, DS left for his last class of preschool this morning. H usually drops him off since he works at the school, and the girls and I pick him up. He then has a grad/year end performance Friday morning 😊

Everyone is so cute!

Daycare is starting Monday. My husband is taking H for 2 hour trial runs, which started this morning. While he was there, I got a call from out #1 choice daycare that they have a spot available start of July. When I renewed our name on the list in February, they told me he probably wouldn’t get in until he was a toddler. So we’re meeting them tomorrow and then probably telling the daycare he is signed up for that he’ll only be staying the month. People do this right? I feel like a bitch but I absolutely want the best spot for my child.

Also, H is now almost 4.5 months and hasn’t started the 4 month sleep regression yet. What are the chances of him never having it? Lol, I’m hoping for the best here!
