Thanks for the check in cali! @easilyunamused we're at the top of the list. Holy crap. :0 I'm 33w2d and feeling the exhaustion of third tri. Sorry I wasn't good about coming back last week to comment, I promise this week I'll be better. I'm having a much harder time controlling my blood sugar numbers the last few days and I'm not happy about it. Meals that weeks ago gave me good numbers now give me high numbers. I have a check in with the diabetes nurse on Wednesday so we will see what she says. NSTs start on the 19th 2x/week. I'm still hoping I'll go into labor on my own and not have to be induced, FX. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Aye yo. I'm 29+5. Thanks for the check-in, cali ! I'm sorry about the frustrations with managing your GD, justjudy . I don't have any advice, other than to start planning that first post-delivery meal when you can finally throw up your middle finger to all the bullshit. AFM, Had an OB appt on Friday. This kiddo is head down already, and OB thinks she will stay that way due to size of ute. That said, it doesn't really mean much, as I'm still dead set on a RCS. Our hospital is the only one in the state that allows VBACs, and so that came up at the appt when I asked when we will be scheduling my RCS. My OB asked me at least three different ways if I was sure I didn't want to try, or take time to read about it, or whatever, and clearly she doesn't know me obviously I've done all of that already. I just want to be awake this time, and uh.. another induction considering how last one went? No thank you, please. I don't feel like I'm missing out on some magical rite of passage by not pushing a baby out of my hoo ha, but I do feel like I was jipped with being under while TT was born. So, not a hard decision there. Next appt is next week with OB. Next MFM is the 3rd, for the beginning of the weekly NSTs/BPPs. Between sick toddler, pg appts, PT, and pain management appts.. one of these days I swear I'll be in the office for the full 5 days without interruption. My employer truly is amazing in that regard.

AFM, I'm 29w4d today (that is so crazy to me)! Nothing really new to report. I'm tired as hell and working 12 hour clinical shifts feels like it's going to kill me but if I can power through I'll be done by the second week of July so I'm trying to keep my eye on the prize. It's so frustrating to me that I don't have the energy I used to have because I just have so much I need to get done! Also, is anyone else experiencing horrible leg cramps at night? I've been having them, especially on days that I'm on my feet at clinicals all day. I've tried drinking tons of water, eating potassium rich foods, elevating my feet when I get home, nothing seems to help. I did buy compression socks yesterday so I'm hoping they help, but if anyone has any tips, I'm open to trying anything. They're so painful!

justjudy, we are getting so close! Sorry your GD is acting up. I hope the levels even out these next few weeks. ketchup, it's good that you know yourself well enough to know you're more than comfortable with a RCS. cali, sorry for the leg cramps. The stuff you've already done worked for me. I did here flexing your toes up instead of out when it cramps is better. I hope the compression socks help!

I'm hanging out at 33+3 and feeling good! I survived my first week of not working and kept busy. We are setting up the nursery starting tomorrow and hoping to get things all set in a week or two so we can just relax the remainder of the pregnancy.
Can I AWish some maternity pics? PDQ

cali - not yet. It will be when I'm 39wks. We just don't know official date because my OB's August calendar isn't "out" yet for her to schedule. @easilyunamused - I have that dress! Can't fit my boobs in it, so it sits in my closet all pretty like, but it looks absolutely stunning on you! And that matching manicure, tho.

I'm sorry for the sugar frustrations justjudy, I hope it levels out for you soon! cali hopefully the compression socks will do the trick! @easilyunamused the pictures look great! ketchup a RCS sounds like it's the best way to go. yoshijo I hope you find something great in the next round of dresses! I'm 16 weeks 4 days No symptoms really, I'm now referring to this as a unicorn pregnancy lol. Just had my 16 week so nothing until the first week of July for my next OB apt & anatomy scan. My Doppler came last week and I was able to find the heartbeat on the first try so that was pretty awesome!

1. How far are you now? 29+5 2. Symptom check: My hips, oh my hips. I'm having trouble sleeping because of hip pain and little man kicking me in the hips all night long. Otherwise same old swollen feet and acid reflux. 3. What and when is your next appointment? Next Appointment is next Thursday (June 20 or 22) we go for a regular appointment then we'll grab dinner and go to our birthing class. They were nice and fit me in 2 hours before the birthing class since we have to drive an hour to get there. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I am freaking out and feel so under prepared. I can't believe I'll be 30 weeks this week. The room is no where near done. I have no clothing for this child. The crib is not built. I'm freaking. We did get most of the stuff out of the room thanks to our yard sale this weekend and we bought paint but I can't get DH to get moving! My shower is on Saturday so I'm hoping to get some of the stuff we still need but I'd like to have the room done to bring it into it! I do have the closet organized and stuff of the baby's in there but I need the crib and changing station set up to put crap in there. I'm sorry you are having trouble managing your numbers justjudy, I hope it gets better! cali, Not cramps but I've woken up multiple times in the past few weeks with Charlie horses in my calves. Like you I've been drinking a ton of water and eating bananas for potassium like they are going out of style. Cute pictures @easilyunamused, I want to have some done but DH is refusing to get them so maybe I'll just have some done by myself.

ketchup, I'm side-eyeing your OB for pushing you to try VBAC. When I asked mine he was all "you can try but based on your experience last time around, you'll probably end up with another csection anyway so I don't recommend it." Can't believe after all you went through, yours would push for anything other than RCS. justjudy, sorry for the GD frustrations. cali, no real advice on the cramps. I realized I was giving them to myself when I would stretch a certain way. This was helpful when I was awake but not so much when I would do it in my sleep. AFM, I'm 29+1 and realized last night that based off of my RCS date, I'm close to single digit weeks remaining! 😳 I need to get my butt in gear and get clothes washed and figure out what I need for this little one. We had a really busy weekend and I'm feeling it today. Everything hurts. Other than that, I have nothing new to report.

mrsrodgers - I don't know that she was trying to push me towards having a VBAC, as much as she was surprised that I was so firmly in camp not even considering it without having asked her any questions or for her medical input. Once I said my last "nope" and went into the whole "body clearly doesn't like inductions, would like to be awake, don't feel like less of a woman, and I'm high risk enough as it is thankyouverymuch" she was basically like "no kidding". Mehbe it's just a rare thing for a STM with a previous emergency c-section to not want to try for a VBAC? Idk. Also +1 for needing to get one's ass into gear re: prep. I mean, I've shopped for MOAR cute clothes (which is absolutely not on the list of shit we need), but uh.. that's about it. Pretty sure the nursery was almost done, and my hospital bag packed around this time with TT. Sorry, kid.

I am mobile but will try and respond to everyone soon!

king26, I'm in the same situation. I have nothing right now. But my has been working on painting the nursery and putting in new baseboards. As soon as that's done we can start putting the furniture together. Our shower is in two weeks and after that I'm just planning to figure out what else we need and buy stuff then.

cali, You're a rockstar for dealing with 12hr long days at this point! I'm super impressed. I don't have cramps, but restless leg and it make sleeping really difficult. I feel your pain. ketchup, A nice scheduled RCS sounds like a great birth plan! @easilyunamused, Enjoy your down time! yoshijo, I'm on 15 units now, started at 10 but had 3 high fasting so they had to up my dose. Today was better, but I basically ate 15g of carbs all day and it was all fruit so I'm going to have to keep cutting back. The things we do to have babies! Strength training is smart. I feel like I should be doing some arm work, but that means actually going to the gym. laurensc927, Yay for dopplers! Enjoy your nice and easy pregnancy, it's well deserved. king26, Have fun at your shower! I hope you get lots of good stuff. Having the closet organized was our first step too. mrsrodgers, Single digits! Getting close. kensie5226, Glad the puking is under control. I really really hate that part of pregnancy. I'm still on Diclegis about every other day at 33w, anything to keep the nausea at bay. yellowcat, Silly kid! Hope he moves for you.

cali, sorry about the leg cramps! justjudy, sorry that your blood sugar is giving you problems. yellowcat, I hope he moves back around!! kensie5226, glad to hear you are feeling better! I am right there with you on the low energy though. ketchup, at least you have a plan and your OB is good with it!! mrsrodgers, so close!! king26, we have nothing prepared either. We have some time left but knowing myself, I will hope that things magically get done. I did add like 3 more things to the registry though! that's something, right?! laurensc927, I feel like that too! thankfully I've been symptom free except for the fatigue. Also, being able to use the Doppler whenever is really reassuring. @easilyunamused, glad you can relax! I saw the dress you had yesterday and it's really pretty! is that from pinkblush? I can't commit to ordering anything from them.... yoshijo, good luck finding clothes! I am having the same problem.

1. How far are you now? 22 weeks today!! 2. Symptom check: fatigue and hunger 3. What and when is your next appointment? 6/27 regular OB. I'll also get the drink for the GD test. NOT looking forward to that. 4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I add a few things to the registry. We have been looking at buying a house again. Can't say whether we will or won't but we found a really nice neighborhood that we both really like. Not too far from where we live now which is good commute-wise. I hate traffic.

4. I want some energy back. Someone tell that to my sick toddler.Uhm, aren't you the toddler whisperer? You have a better shot at rationalizing with her than I do with TT. Are you no caffeine during pg, or? If you are, perhaps reconsider that.. because I'm pretty sure it is an essential to surviving pg with a toddler. I am 33 weeks tomorrow, time is flying! I have an appointment on Wednesday and need them to check out little boys position. I am pretty sure he is now sideways. He started head down and is moving the wrong way! But since he moved my hip pain is gone! I am mobile but will try and respond to everyone soon! Yaaaaaas to hip pain being gone! As someone going through that torture right now, I get jealous AF excited for others when their pain goes away. FX whatever position he finds himself in doesn't bring it back.

1. How far are you now? 31+4 today2. Symptom check: Same crap new week. 3. What and when is your next appointment? I had my regular check up today. Got my TDAP so my arm hurts, a lot. I had Molly with me and she got a sticker, I think I deserved a sticker too. Everything looked good and my belly is growing as it should. I have/had diet controlled GD for both of my pregnancies. Last time, I had no special monitoring or anything the OB basically said he wasn't worried about it and I was going to be treated like a normal pregnant person. I have an OB now who is new to the practice and a tad overcautious. She informed me that I now have to go to weekly BPPs and NSTs until I deliver. I will enjoy seeing the little guy, but I think it's a little overkill when all my fasting #s are below 85 and I barely failed the GTT. The dietitian I see has even said that there is no need for me to be testing so much with the way my #s look. So now I get to spend 2-3 hours of my "Molly day," the day I have off every week specifically so I can spend time with her, at the hospital. I'm so sad. Hopefully, I will be able to book most of them during nap time and it won't suck so bad. Plus, I'm going to have to ask MIL to watch her
Does everyone else with GD have to do this crap or is it just my new OB being excessive?4. Anything you’d like to share with the group? I'm about half way done with the baby blanket I'm crocheting. I really need to get started on his quilt.
