How often does your LO get a bath?

Today is DH's first day at work, the house is so quiet without him and Faith. I'm getting lots of work done though which is nice because Faith has her 4 month appt this afternoon at 2:30 and I'm not taking her back to daycare since it would only be for another 1.5 hours or so. Hopefully she isn't too fussy...

DH's parents will be in town this week for a golf tournament (staying at a hotel thank goodness) so we will see them several days this week. They plan on stopping by to see Faith on their way to the hotel. They don't care about us anymore. lol

Oh, and Faith slept through the night last for the fourth time!  She was asleep by 9, woke up at 11 to eat and then woke up happy at 7:30.  I'm hoping this means the end of the 4 month sleep regression since she has only been waking up 1 time for the last week or so since I re-introduced dream feeds around midnight as I go to bed.

Once or twice a week.  Is that gross?  I figure I clean her diaper area with every diaper change and if she gets formula in her neck roll I wipe that down too.

Back at work and it doesn't feel like I had a 4 day weekend. We spent most of the weekend organizing and moving stuff to our storage unit. We met with our realtor yesterday and she wants to list the house in a little over a week. So I need to buckle down and sort through some more attic stuff this week then we need to move more stuff this weekend. At least this whole process is preparing us for moving and will hopefully make that process less painful.

Every three days unless they are particularly gross. I bathe him every day that I bathe G.

Good morning!
I am solo with the kiddos again after three days of having MH help. I haven’t slept well in three days which isn’t making today anymore fun. So far today we have had breakfast, G watched a movie, I have done a load of whites, booked some activities for our cruise, called the place to schedule G’s next evaluations and cleaned up a little. I’m ready to be done today. Alas I have 9 hours until MH gets home. Then I’m going to work for 3 hours or so.
G is now playing with abc mouse and the baby is in his sit me up. The dr says he should spend as much time during day either in a seat or doing tummy time to help with his head shape. I feel bad but it’s drs orders.

We do 2-3 per week.....two is average (Sundays and Wednesday), with one more thrown in if he spits up a lot or has lots of big poops. We may move to more soon just because he has so much fun in them now! The first 3 months he HATED baths so it was not fun to give him one at all.

Faith LOVES bathtime so I usually give her one every other day-ish.  I don't always use soap though.  If it is hot and we took her on a walk or something I will give her a bath to cool down and make sure she isn't sticky.

If I’m being totally honest, once a week. But more if there’s a poopsplosion or something. I think I’ll start more frequent baths as it gets warmer out. DD1 gets a bath every night.

This was our old schedule when she was getting bathed in a sink in our master bathroom.  It was too much work to warm up the bathroom, get everything out, bathe her, then put everything away. Now that she is in a tub in our guest bathroom it is more frequent because it is easier.

Probably about 4 times a week, big kids around 5 or 6. But shampoo on baby only once a week. She likes bathing and the big kids are constantly dirty because we spend as much time as possible outside haha. Been also on a big afternoon bath kick with DS in ball and wanting to spend evenings outside in general.

This is a prep week for a big weekend and I feel like I’ll always be playing catch up haha. DS had preschool yesterday morning and ball in the evening. I got cupcakes baked for DD1’s birthday party coming up this weekend.
Today is a day at home, so I plan to get the icing made, clean the garage a bit (we have a double attached so it works great for backyard parties), and plant some trees my mom dropped off for me. I was looking for some and she had extra pines still potted at her place so yay to free landscaping lol!

Bath once a week!

Did anyone have a growth spurt at 16 weeks? I know 4 months is common so we are close to that. She was up so much last night then napped over 2 hours this morning!

DS2 does baths once a week but we do wipe downs as needed. I’d like to bump it up to 2 times a week. He loves the bath and it seems to help with his sleep so I really need to work on it.

I’m at work and have a very thrown off day bectween a drs appt l, meetings and only being able to single side pump at a time because H when he packed my bag forgot part a flange. I can’t wait to pick the kids up and just hang out outside for a little bit since it’s grogeous out.

I bathe DD2 every few days. Lately, it’s been so hot out so she’s been getting a bath more frequently. Last week, I couldn’t remember when she last had a bath. It could have been a day or 3 days. Some weeks the days just seem to blend together. 🙈

Today feels like Monday, but I’m so glad it isn’t! It was in the high 90s all weekend. And DD1 had a stomach bug. Lots of vomiting and snuggles. It was not how I envisioned spending a long weekend.

Bath was 1-2x a week. Now we have to wash his head nightly before his cradle cap treatment.

We bath every few days. Basically when we remember or if she has had a really spitty day.

I weighed her this morning and she gained 8 oz this week! No wonder she's been eating 5x7 oz bottles per day!

We do bath 1-2x per week. 3x per week for the big kid. I'd like to do it more but h is in charge of bath so I try not to micromanage and just be grateful to have a few minutes to myself.

So I'm not sure what day care is doing with our diaper bag/bottle cooler but in two trips there it smells like spoiled formula and the outside bottom of our diaper bag is wet. I just looked it up and the diaper bag is not washable (should have checked that before I registered for it I guess).

Anyway, any suggestions on how to clean this so it doesn't stink?

Baths 1-2x week for the baby and most days for the toddler. I have been doing continuing ed stuff today and drinking wine but don't tell anyone about the wine. I'm chilling for a bit before I get the kiddos. Sa1 was a hot mess at drop off today.

Today is one of those days where I keep having to remind myself that he won’t be a baby forever. Today has been frustrating and I’m tired of living my days in three hour intervals.

what type of diaper bag is it? I’d be tempted if it was something like a normal backpack type material I’d throw it in the wash anyways.

That was my first thought (leaking cooler bag) but the inside is not wet and the contents are not wet, it is just the bottom and the bottom sides.  It is a polyester type material with "leather" handles.

I hope we don't have to change day care providers, and two days isn't time to set off alarm bells especially since this is mostly small stuff, but in the two days we have been there:

• Bottle with "pressure issues" and spilled formula
• Came home with two items in our bag that aren't ours
• Cooler bag smells like spoiled milk/formula
• Using diapers out of our bag instead of the pack we brought in on our first visit
• Sent her to day care wearing a bib to try to protect her outfit from the massive amounts of drool and picked her up with it in the diaper bag.

I'm going to call tomorrow to speak to someone to make sure we are on the same page.  We are getting to know them and they are getting to know Faith so it will be a transition period for everyone.  I've also never had a kid in day care before so I don't know what is reasonable to expect...

Speaking of...  I got a sheet today where it says she only ate 1 of the 4 ounces in the bottle but there was no formula left when I got home.  Is it normal for them to throw out formula if it isn't eaten?  The untouched bottle was fine, just the one that she didn't finish.  We usually put that back in the fridge if she only had a few sips and then wasn't interested.  I'm not rich enough for them to be throwing formula out willy nilly at $1/ounce.

aprilz81, our daycare will empty bottles (and rinse) if he doesn't finish them. The exception is if I get there and he just stopped drinking one. Like today, he just finished with 1.5 oz of breastmilk left in the bottle. I took it home in case he wanted to finish it.

Do you have more than one diaper bag? We have a daycare bag and leave the nicer Jujube bag at home. Our cooler bag had milk in the bottom and I didn't know where it was coming from. I think they rinsed his bottles and just threw them in there. We stopped bringing the cooler bag and now they set his bottles aside on the counter. We bring them to and from daycare in the diaper bag.

They didn't even rinse these out (didn't really expect them to so no biggie).  I do think I'm going to start taking a crappy bag to day care.  This one isn't too expensive ($50ish) or bulky, but they provide wipes and we leave packs of diapers there.  We really just need to transport bottles, a change of clothes and a pacifier.  I've been packing a burp cloth and blanket, but when I got there today she was in a sleep sack (not ours) so I'm not sure that is even necessary.  

If they do indeed throw out formula if she doesn't drink it I will pack more bottles with less in it.  I'd rather wash more bottles than waste more money.

This is the stuff I didn't think of when it comes to daycare transitions.  I was just worried about being away from her all day and if she would be upset and not sleep (she isn't sleeping there so far).  I didn't think about them tossing formula and possibly ruining our stuff.
