How big is baby?: no idea, feels smaller than my last pregnancies
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM, hopefully my 2nd takehome baby
Team Pink/blue/green?: blue

Symptoms: sore public bone, pee when I sneeze, reflux, sore hips at night
Milestones: first time (I think) doing check-in thanks to PGAL brain. He’s moving around a lot so I’m feeling mentally pretty good right now
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: my doctor told me that it’s fine to sleep on my back, anyone else get the okay too? I usually start on my sides but do sleep on my back when my hips can’t take it anymore.
GTKY: What's your go to nail/toe polish color? My Chihuahua Bites, but currently rocking a teal. I think I want to try a dark purple next time.

pickles I keep waking up on my back. I haven't had any of the physical symptoms that can go with it so I'm assuming either I hadn't been on my back that long or my bump isn't heavy enough to cause problems. I think it's mostly physical symptoms for mom, not baby, that's why back sleeping isn't recommended. Someone correct me if that's wrong. But also I would think your body would wake you up if it was getting pissed. If your doctor said it's fine then I'd go with that.

GTKY: What's your go to nail/toe polish color? I don't paint my fingernails but I get pedicures a couple times a year. I usually go for a pale-ish colour so that it doesn't look so bad when I grow it out.

Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: any pumping tips? My body wasn't a big fan of it last time and is struggling a bit now Normally I would suggest to just let baby nurse as often as possible, but with such an early baby, she will tire too easily. A manual pump may be more effective at this point than an electric, at least until your milk comes in. That colostrum is tricky to get out! Good luck, baby girl looks so healthy for 33w. I would also check in with a lactation consultant about how the hysterectomy may impact breastfeeding. From what I’ve read, the procedure itself should not affect milk production, but taking an estrogen supplement could reduce supply.

pickles, I definitely end up on my back most nights, and I did all the way through my first pregnancy too. I never asked my doctor about it but I figure if I'm involuntarily moving in my sleep then there's nothing I can do about it. Also if the circulation to my legs was really getting cut off then I suspect I'd wake up. When is your due date? How far along are you?: 8/25, 27w3d How big is baby?: bananas, or a camping lantern. A camping lantern seems huge. FTM/STM/TTM/etc: STM Team Pink/blue/green?: Blue #2 Any Upcoming Appointments?: I have a routine check-up with my 1hr GLT tomorrow. It seems like lots of us are having this this week! Symptoms: Tired. Also, anyone else get a sort of achy discomfort in the soft tissue area of the crotch? Like in the pubic bone area but in the soft tissues/fat there instead of the bone? It's weird. I notice it first thing in the morning mostly and then it gets better as I move around during the day. On the plus side, allergies are getting better! I stopped the Zyrtec/Flonase a few days ago and I still feel decent. Milestones: not quite third trimester Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: I'm nervous for my GLT tomorrow even though I'm probably low risk for GD because my 1hr glucose level with my first pregnancy was in the 70s, which is borderline hypoglycemic. This pregnancy just feels different though. Or maybe I'm nervous about my sugar crashing too low and making me feel like crap. I dislike not knowing which way it will go. GTKY: What's your go to nail/toe polish color? To form this opinion I'd have to actually wear polish... I got a coral-colored gel manicure and pedicure for my wedding 3 years ago, which was really the only time I've done something serious with my nails. I painted my toes (red, I think) towards the end of my first pregnancy 2 years ago but I haven't since then.

When is your due date? How far along are you?: July 4th, 35 weeks tomorrow
How big is baby?: I have no idea
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team Pink/blue/green?: Pink
Any Upcoming Appointments?: June 5th, TDAP and normal check-up
Symptoms: Heartburn, so. much. heartburn.
Milestones: I washed all of the NB clothes that we had in storage last night, this is getting so real!
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: Rant, I've been googling (pointlessly) chances of going into labor spontaneously if first 2 were induced for being late. There doesn't appear to be much in the way of useful medical studies but the anecdotal evidence is not great. I really hate the constant monitoring you get when you're induced. The monitor never picks up my contractions half the time and the strap feels painful. I'm sure I'll be begging for an induction by week 41 but it would be nice to have my body pull itself together on its own.
GTKY: What's your go to nail/toe polish color? I used to love bright pink but I can't remember the last time I painted my nails. The girls love getting their nails painted though so I'm still in the nail polish game.

bananas22 I had a lot of trouble pumping with my daughters. Breastfeeding was fine but going back to work really hurt my supply. The thing that helped the most was doing compressions while pumping. Kelly mom had good info and I also googled a lot of ideas on how to do it. I would pump until my output slowed and then I'd do compressions while pumping on each side. It wasn't fun but it worked. Also, if you don't have a hands free pumping bra get one ASAP. All of that being said, you've just had a major medical procedure, go easy on yourself as much as you can.

bananas22, pumping to establish a supply in the first few days vs. pumping later for production are totally different beasts, so be sure to keep your expectations low. Right now it should about trying to use the pump to mimic the baby sucking, not to actually produce much volume. Even a few drops of colostrum should be considered a success! Be patient... it should get better over the next few days. Definitely work with the hospital lactation consultant if you haven't yet. Good luck!

When is your due date? How far along are you?: August 2, 30+5 How big is baby?: Cabbage FTM/STM/TTM/etc: Baby #2 Team Pink/blue/green?: Blue Any Upcoming Appointments?: I'm on to every other week checkups, but this is my off week. I do go for a massage tonight, which is very much needed. Symptoms: Mostly just peeing right now. Heartburn is mostly manageable, but still present. Milestones: 3/4 done (or very close, DD was born at 41+1 after an induction). I also think I cut my own toenails for the last time until August Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: Still feeling nervous about this baby's positioning, but I need to just let it happen. GTKY: What's your go to nail/toe polish color? I either like something grey (close to purple) or something very bright (right now my toes are coral). I rarely paint my fingernails, but those are always something neutral because it lasts for about a day before getting ruined.

When is your due date? How far along are you?: 7/17, 33 weeks
How big is baby?: Pineapple
FTM/STM/TTM/etc: TTM
Team Pink/blue/green?: Green
Any Upcoming Appointments?: 34 week appointment a week from today. Also an ultrasound bc my fundal height was measuring behind at the last appointment.
Symptoms: Mild reflux, some hip/pelvic pain, constant peeing, MOTN waking
Milestones: Not a pregnancy milestone, but in related news-- I now have a vehicle that can fit all 3 kids! Hooray!
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?: Worried about baby's positioning/measuring behind. Worried about DS2's tonsillectomy next week. The car purchase was taking up so much of mental energy the past couple of weeks that I haven't had time to fret about DS2 yet. :S
GTKY: What's your go to nail/toe polish color? Anything metallic- silver/gold/rose gold or a blue/purple with a metallic tint. I can't do anything pink/peachy/orangey bc I have olive skin, and I don't really like red nail polish. I generally just do my toes, though, and only during summer. When I do my fingernails they seem to chip almost immediately so I don't bother.

frecklesnbrains I'm nervous about my 1 hr glucose test tomorrow also. I struggle with blood sugar crashes sometimes and have since I was a teenager. My glucose is always normal when I have it checked at physicals though. So I'm also thinking it will make me feel shitty. I'm worried that the fact that I have that issue, especially sometimes after eating like pancakes with syrup, that that means I'm going to have it. But we'll see.
