Made fresh blueberry pancakes and bacon this morning. While the bacon was cooking Cadence announced, "this is just like Grandpa's house!" Guess that was the only place she really got hot breakfast. It made me happy that she still has those memories.

Morning! Not sure I really even posted over the weekend. We just finished breakfast (pancakes and bacon here too!). We had a busy weekend traveling all over so we’re going to have a low key day. We might pack a picnic and bike to the park and then to the ice cream place before naps. It’s supposed to be 98 today so at least it’ll count as a good workout! Then i might pick up a new pool and set that up in the backyard for the afternoon.

I'm walking around our outdoor mall with H while he shoe shops. It's hooooot! I do not love looking at all the normal people clothes and shoes 😒

We had French toast and bacon lol. Now we're headed to the park to rent a 4 person bike and then we'll eat lunch. Need to stop at the grocery too and hopefully get the boys hair cuts.
Their working on our basement. They started staking out for footers and kept hitting rock. He finally got a backhoe and dug out 20 foot by 20 foot section of rocks. Now he's filling in and compacting dirt. The boys are in heaven watching the equipment lol.

That sounds delicious klong11 and a great memory about her grandpa  guster I hate marshmallows but I like rice crispy treats.... it’s weird. Jog! dapostrophe We hung by the pool at my parents yesterday. Gonna be low key today... packing random stuff like bathroom cabinets. |

Morning!! We had cereal for breakfast. LO has been a jerk the past few days. I hope this phase passes quickly or I might be having a garage sale for all the toys that I am getting rid of due to bad behavior.

Had a CTJ meeting with the peeps and we had a family cleaning session. It's not perfect, but it's cleaner. Cadence is refusing to answer to her name and wants to be called Elsa.  |

After our walk, I managed to get the boys to chill on the couch for almost an hour. I may have bribed them with Pirates Booty to start, but they got really into Paw Patrol and I was borderline napping. They're both exhausted - Chase got put down early for nap because he kept hitting and telling us no. Now I am hoping Colin will want to go down early because I'm tired!!

My parents took C to their town parade this morning and then we went to their house for a cookout. It was nice to have some free time and my parents enjoy the one on one with C. Now we are trying to get C to take a nap but I’m not holding my breath. He’s 50/50 these days on napping.

We skipped the bike ride and picnic and the park and decided to just put up the pool instead. I think we would have died biking in this heat! The kids are having fun playing in the water and we’re sitting in the shade with a cold cocktail. My parents are going to come over for dinner later too.

Okay so those 4 seater bikes (only 2 peddle) are no fucking joke. I thought A was going to pass out from exhaustion. NEVER AGAIN! The boys thought it was great and kept yelling at us to go faster, mean while, we about died. I'm going to be so sore tomorrow, but A will be worse.. I think BBM prepared me some for that. He on the other hand hasn't done any cardio in years lol.

My and Cadence are playing in the pool again. All the water drained out of it, so there is probably a hole in it somewhere.

No nap. But Cs new scooter came in so we will try that out. It’s a two wheeler and I’m a little nervous about it but he grew out of the three wheel one so we don’t have an option. He also is dying for a skateboard, which I refuse to get him until he’s at least six, and this is the next closest thing.

Also I’ve noticed C is eating a ton lately so I asked him if his lunch was enough food. Since they are playing outside more and he will be swimming every day starting at the end of June, I want to make sure he has enough to get through the day. I figured I’d double the fruit but he requested two sandwiches so that’s what I did. If this is a preview of teenage years, we are going to go through so much food.
