Jealous! jewels Glad you are getting some much needed time away! Enjoy! dapostrophe I’m sorry you are having a rough day. I though my N13er was one of the smaller kids. We just bought M an 18in with training wheels. He rides it fine and has plenty of room to grow. I thought he would outgrow the 16in too fast. Probably not taking the training wheels off anytime soon, but he loves it.

We went to the splash pad with the high school friend that did my make up last week. I'm feeling good about this mom-friendship. Now I'm working while Matthew snacks and Jack sleeps. A took his sister to see the new star wars and then I'm passing them off like hot potatoes lol.

M still has a 12" but I'm afraid if I go bigger she won't be able to touch her feet to the ground...if that makes sense. But if he rides it comfortably maybe I should get a bigger one.

If you are looking at 16in bikes some of them come with hand brakes. Just a word of warning incase your kiddo isn't ready for one

We have a 16" bike, it's what we initially bought because the 12" was too small and there weren't many options in the 14". Evie loves it, it's the perfect size for her. I just measure her last night and she's 44" tall.
It has hand brakes, but she doesn't use them. Trying to get her to push the wheels back to stop is difficult enough.

My dad offered to pay for tickets home to cali for 4th of july weekend. I was already looking at tickets for September. I'm really just wondering when would be a better time to meet miss P ( cagoldi) and miss E ( chrisy01). But I really think I'm going to just stick with labor day.

All this bike talk. We need to buy O a bike. He doesn’t have one. I was thinking 16in but maybe i need to go bigger? Also, maybe having the hand brakes will make it easier to transition later. Just a thought.
Anyone have a bike they recommend? Do you guys feel like the kids bikes are super heavy? I’m always surprised at toys r us when i go to pick one up so O can test drive. They seem super heavy.

I just did M’s height Wednesday night and I forgot. I’ll look when I get home. When I looked at the chart for the bikes it said we should do 16 inch, but we tried him on the 18 at the lowest seat height and he was fine riding, so we went with that. It has a hand brake and he uses it. Eta: tgrimes

Y'all. My MIL picked up the kids and H's ear is draining. His right one.
The one that was perfectly fine during surgery on Tuesday.
I called the ENT and had to leave a message with the nurse so I probably won't hear anything back until Tuesday.
I want to cry.

I hope I remember correctly and that is still the case The last time, his ears did drain. When I called them because they were still draining several days later they said it wasn't normal and to give him the drops again. I'm only supposed to do the drops for 3 days, but this time I'm doing them a bit longer just in case. But his right ear had no fluid in it and was dry on Tuesday. Neither one of his ears has drained at all.

Why are all “plain” bikes so expensive? I don’t mind the character bikes really but it would be nice to just get one without decals all over. I found one on dicks website I like but it’s still $75 (on sale).

X was sent he from school late yesterday and couldn't return this morning because supposedly he had diarrhea. Mysteriously, this diarrhea only happens there. He has very loose poops always since he eats basically no solids.
Anyway, he still may end up at the pedi this weekend to see what's up with his cough and sinuses.
Double nap happened this afternoon so I was able to get in a workout and shower. We'll get Dude a little early then do our usual Friday night Costco run.

H’s current bike is Minnie Mouse and “Santa” brought it for Christmas right after she turned 3. She’s not really into minnie anymore. This time I suppose she could have a say but I’m sure she will want the most expensive one.

B has a small bike that he has completely outgrown and I'm looking for a 16" one for him. I got his for $20 second hand, it was in great condition, and J will probably use it next year. They grow out of them so fast that I will probably always buy them second hand until they are teens or so, but looks like that 16" is a super popular size, they go quick.
