I'm in, if you don't mind noobs. I need to clear out a bunch of crap and have no idea where to start. I like the idea of doing it by area or type and starting small.

I'd be in. I'd love to have my house decluttered and organized before the school year starts back up.

We de-cluttered the front closet and most of the living room bookshelves yesterday. Feels good!

Are we still going to do this?
I did a few things over the weekend. Purged all the food cabinets, fridge, and freezer and put away all the random things that always collect on our kitchen island

I've done my kids room, 2 hall closets, bathroom, and part of the kitchen. I went to dollar tree and got baskets to organize all the things. Also went through H's clothes and got 2 bags to throw away.

We went through this weekend and are getting rid of 50 or more books. I bought a small filing cabinet (for $20!) secondhand and we purged 10 years' worth of 401k statements among other nonsense paperwork, and organized it all. I feel lighter already. The kitchen is next. At one point I went through all of my manuals (yes, I think it is still important to reference a manual. we actually use them regularly) and organized them by location. It is so much easier now to file them and find them. We used according files to separate Kitchen, Outdoors, Baby, Home, etc.

I'm in. We are thinking of putting our house on the market so there is a lot of decluttering that needs to happen.

until McBenny starts her clutter list, we could make a list of little tasks small things and then I could randomly post one a day. like on my personal challenge list to get ready for 4th of july food/bbq wipe out the fridge, toss expired condiments and make list of what to buy for 1st of month, straighten your spot that collects the mail or the bill paying spot, file receipts for big purchases and taxes, toss all junk mail, toss all the pens that don't work. update your planner for when bills are due thru July and into august. its hot and you are outside a lot, swimming and playing in the sun. go thru your pool bag, ck your sunscreen exp dates, toss scratched sunglasses, worn beach towels and blow up pool toys that wont hold air. is that the kinds of daily stuff you want to be nagged about? It's like you are in my house right now and can see the things I should be doing... Literally right now I'm procrastinating dealing with my household desk and the fridge.
