Dd eye looks so bad. I am a terrible mom for thinking ‘ well at least it it happened today and not a day before her birthday next week’. Hopefully the shiner will be less blue come next week.

Afternoon all, I'm dragging today bc j keeps sleeping horribly in our bed, he flops around so much sometimes. The kid needs a full size bed to himself already!
I was literally just doing my job of checking for duplicate applicants for positions and stumbled upon the posting for js new co-teacher, and the front runner is his assistant teacher from last year that we LOVE. Ahh that'd be a dream team! I need to now play dumb..

Ugh, I just drove 30 minutes to bath and body works because they are having a one day sale and realized I left my wallet at home. I’m so annoyed with myself. That sucks. Are they offering the same sale online so you can just go home and order, instead of driving all the way back. I could, but I’m so spoiled by amazon prime I can’t stand A. Waiting and B. Paying shipping!

Just found out that the office manager took back the job offer she made to a guy for a runner position. Dude had a truck. I need a dude with a truck for that position. I'm so pissed. And she didn't tell me, the current runner did because it is his friend. I seriously hate this office manager and her inability to do anything correctly.

Not a bad Mom at all. Chase just had his 4th (?) black eye and I just laughed and called him spot. They're just so clumsy at this age.

Girl bonked herself twice the other weekend and had a bruised cheek and bruised forehead. Once the initial crisis was over we took pictures and talked about her "rainbow face."

I remembered why I hate going to the post office. For only having two people ahead of me it took 45 minutes. She was rude to me and questioned the box I used. I came home took a nap and called the administration for my coverage to have them send forms to the state for my maternity leave.

Will you believe that, not counting teeth trough lips once or twice, I made it 4.5 years without a bruise in either of the kids faces?! This one is huge and weird, and right below her eye, they checked her eye socket and luckily everything looked okay.

There is a lot of problems and they only reached out to me when it was hindering operations. So I don't blame them. J is back to work today so it shouldn't happen again.

Groundhog Day.
Holding a spitty baby.
Yesterday was a nine hour scream fest. I think she's going for a world record.

Morning ladies. We went skating last night since we didn't get to go Sunday and it was a lot of fun. Not crowded at all. Just went a little late and Cass was wiped. She's one heck of a skater. There were these two older men there who were heavy set and kind of frumpily dressed. One was a bald grandpa and the other had a middle-aged man moustache. But they both had the moves. They were so graceful and were skating along to the beat of the music. If only I had those moves. I purged a ton of clothes yesterday. It felt so good. And MH finally got rid of some. He literally had t-shirts from 1994 (so like as old as peachsmama) that I finally convinced him to get rid of. MH impulse bought a new TV but it was a great deal and has a beautiful picture. ::whispers- I still have some dance ones from 1991::

I confess that I have 1 basketball t-shirt from 92 that I wear as a pajama shirt. MH has a bazillion tees though and a good share don't fit well anymore/are really worn out. He tries to act like I'm the clothes horse when in reality all of my clothes fit in my dresser and my part of the closet (which is smaller than his). It's just that he also had a ginormous tub of clothes in our storage closet that I was sick of seeing.

Does anyone know if the Proboards privacy policy PM has anything to do with the mega suspected trolls post on GD or just a coincidence?

I'm actually better than last week so I hope that means I'm finding some balance. I was on my own last night and tonight because Pete had work stuff but he already said he's sending me out for a massage whenever I want to schedule one.

Dang cagoldi. I've been thinking about you. I hope her tummy problems get under control soon (is that still what it looks like?) so you can get some peace. Definitely her stomach and I am starting to suspect a milk allergy. She had four poops in ten minutes this morning. We have her 2 month check-up next Tuesday so I'll talk to the doctor about it then unless things go downhill dramatically in the next few days and I need to get Dr in sooner. I thinkX has another sinus infection. It would be histhird in two months. tgrimes posts yesterday have hit me wondering about his adenoids so I'm going to try to get him to the ENT to have a look at those so they can take them out when they do tubes, if necessary.

nam2013 not a bad mom lol. Landon was so too heavy as a toddler when he fell he always hit his forehead on the exact same spot. He had a Harry Potter type scar their now. And I got so many black eyes as a kid my mom was legit worried that the preschool would think she was abusing me. I drove back to bath and body works and spent double the money I had planned to. I should have just sprung for the shipping!

Augh, I hope it’s not a milk allergy. But then again it’d be nice for it to be something you could fix. Good idea about the adenoids. That way you wouldn’t have to go back later for those, too.

OK guys, I think I’m being stupid but can you talk me off the ledge? At charlottes appointment on Monday the doctor said everything was perfect and that in terms of gross motor skills she was presenting at about six months instead of four months, which is great. Then she offhandedly mentioned that Charlotte was still crossing her legs of the ankle a lot and keep an eye on that and make sure we are working on having her spread her legs out and leg movement when we play with her so that she doesn’t end up with some bowleggedness. Then she looked at me because she knows I’m a worrierAnd said do not google that I have no concerns this is not a big deal do not Google it. So of course I googled it. And now I can’t shake my worries and noticed that she does it all the time. Apparently it can be an indicator of CP. Honestly I don’t think there’s anything wrong and she’s perfect in hitting all of her milestones but now that it’s been put in my head I just can’t seem to shake that yucky feeling. I’m sure my anxiety in general has a big thing to do with it. Anyway will you guys look at the picture of my sweet girl and give me anecdotal hair Pats and tell me that your babies crossed their legs like this too??

She is such a doll baby! I just want to squeeze her! If your pedi is saying don't worry then I would believe her. I know it's hard. But if she was concerned about something so serious, she can't withhold that from you. C is perfect and healthy and seriously so freaking cute!

C definitely crossed his legs like that xolastunicornxo. Can you email or call the Dr and go over your new google concerns? It sounds like she’s half expecting your call 😉

Hey hey! I thought I posted today, but I didn’t hit send. Nothing exciting. cagoldi So sorry about P and X. I hope you get answers for both of them soon. xolastunicornxo M and M2 both crossed their legs as infants. I noticed it on M when he was almost 1. He is not bow legged. I’ve never heard that before. I guess the jury is still out on M2, but I wouldn’t worry about it. I don’t think it’s worth stressing over, but I know it’s easier said than done.

xolastunicornxo - Chase is 2 and STILL constantly crosses his ankles. He does walk a bit bowl-legged but he was also walking on his toes a lot just a few months ago, so who knows if it'll even last? Anyhow, just trust your pediatrician and try to relax. I know how hard that can be - these are our kids! - but worrying isn't helping anything. Hugs lady.
