Hi!
I have had a busy day and it may be busy for a few days.
Today G has her speech evaluation. Then MH is meeting us there, we are switching cars and I am heading to PA to my bffs house. We are going to a concert and I am staying at her house. I am nervous about being away from the kids all night. MH will take good care of them but I am still nervous and I am sure I won’t sleep well.
Tomorrow I will drive home and then go to work for a bit. Wednesday G and two more evals to do. I am already tired thinking about it.

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a nice weekend!
Today is DH's first day working from home (he will be each Monday) so it's his first long day all alone with DS.So far it is going well but I'm still a little nervous for him! He does so great with DS so I am not worried, I just know that taking away the element of being able to offer a boob when DS is really fussy makes the day a little harder! Lol.

My dad goes into surgery in 20 minutes for a double bypass and valve replacement. I am not sure how I am going to get anything done at work today until the 8 hour surgery is done.

sarahh oh gosh that’s intense! Hopefully you can try to find some distractions and keep us posted! I had a family member go through a similar surgery with great results.

We had a busy and expensive weekend coupled with a couple of bad nights of sleep I feel like I’m dragging. But it’s sunny out so I hope that maybe I can go for a walk with the boys later after I get home.

Everything is going good with the surgery so far. They are about 2/3 done. They did one bypass and are working on the valve now. After that the 2nd bypass then hook everything back up. I hope he will be done in the next 3 hours. My mom has slacked off on the updates and my sister and I were freaking out but I finally got a hold of her and everything is fine.

Baby woke at 4:30 which she hasn’t done in a long time. She then did NOT go back to sleep until 7:30. Of course I stayed up too late last night drinkin wine and watching Evil Genius on Netflix (it’s good) so I’m barely hanging on today.
DD will be 4 months on Friday so I’m thinking we have a sleep regression/growth spurt going on. Anyone with older babies go through it and come out ok?

sarahh I hope your dads out soon. Hugs! I am trying to put the little down for a nap, he’s fighting me! I would really like to shower. We have plans to go to the park after the big wakes up. I feel guilty about saying this but I really can’t wait to sleep train. Little just turned 7 months (4 adjusted) and the sleep deprivation is getting to me.

We are home from our trip to my inlaws - it was nice to see them but I am so happy to be home.
I can't wait to sleep in my own bed.
J didn't sleep the greatest - both overnight and naps

Thanks for all the thoughts today. My dad came out of surgery and they said everything was perfect. I think at some point tonight they will lessen the drugs so he can wake up but it will probably be late. I’m hopeful that recovery isn’t too terrible for him.

Ugh.. I'm an EPer and my supply is tanking. I'm already on reglan and I almost feel meh on trying all the tricks to get it back. So over being tethered to that thing but I'm too stubborn to give up and have to buy formula. I EPed for 11.5 months with DS1. I just wanna give up. But I haven't had to supplement yet and only the daycare takes from my 1000 oz freezer stash. Keep on keeping on I suppose.

sarahh glad everything went well. Hope recovery is nice and smooth. jessijean I hope your supply hangs on for you. That’s so tough. You’re doing a great job!! Ever since baby started pooping green she’s been up with nasty diapers between 2 and 3am. I don’t necessarily expect her to sleep thru the night every night, but I’m so over middle of the night explosive ones. I wish I could figure out what’s causing her issues.

Hi all!!! It's Tuesday but I'm catching up on yesterday. sarahh I'm so glad your dad's surgery went well!! pinkcat I hope YHs day went well! I am leaving both littles with MH on Saturday from ~ 830 AM to about ~4/430 PM to attend a bachelorette party.. Wish him luck. LOL. |

jessijean I’m not an eper since we got DS’s tongue tie fixed but I’m noticing a supply change too and I’m being stubborn about it. I’m here if you’re u want to talk/vent.

sarahh I'm glad your dad's surgery went well! sunfrogger I was gone 11 hours and he did great! I hope your DH does on Saturday too...and that you get to enjoy lots of drinks at the bachelorette party 😊
