I was going to just bump an old thread but in my quick search couldn’t find one that quite fit what I was asking. So...
1. Does baby have a fairly consistent bed time (within say 30 minutes). If so what time is bed time?
2. How old is your LO?
3. How long before bed is the last feeding?

Good questions: 1) Yes we have a consistent bedtime. He is usually in bed between 6:30 and 7. Sometimes if he is having a hard night, he won’t be asleep until closer to 7:30. 2)He is just over 4mo 3) He usually has his last bottle between 6 and 6:30.

I ask because we’re struggling to figure out when bedtime actually is. About a month ago bedtime ass between 8:45 and 9:30 and she was sleeping 10-11 hours. She’s stopped sleeping that long, and sometimes when I put her down for a ‘nap’ at 6:30, she doesn’t wake up after like an hour. But her last feeding was at 4:30 which seems a bit early for the night. Trying to decide if we should establish an earlier bed time, if I should do a dream feed, etc.

1) Yes, she falls asleep around 8:45-9:00.
2) She’ll be 4 months in a few days.
3) She starts nursing as soon as DD1 is in bed, around 8:00.

We are still struggling with this and in the past week trying to establish a bedtime routine. That being said, the last several weeks her sleep has been super shitty so I wouldn't necessarily follow our plan.
Faith is 15 months tomorrow (I think that is right, I'm losing track of weeks...) or 3 1/2 months. For the last week or so we have been trying to get her in her crib and mostly asleep between 8-9. Some nights are better than others, but she usually sleeps until at least 2:30 before waking up to eat.
Her meal schedule is also all over the place, she does a lot of what I call snacking. She will nurse and seem content, but then an hour later is screaming so we try a bottle and she sucks down 2-3 ounces. Rinse and repeat all day. I usually try to nurse her after she is swaddled to help sooth her to sleep. I do my best to stop nursing before she is fully asleep because I do not want to have to nurse her to sleep forever, but sometimes she is out so fast I can't help it.

DS goes to bed around 7-7:30ish (depends on when DD goes to bed which is around this time...I put him to bed right after her)
2. How old is your LO?
He will be 4mo on Monday!
3. How long before bed is the last feeding?
Depends on the day...he feeds every 4 hours so usually between 5-7pm depending on what his feeding schedule looked like that day. And then I dreamfeed him right before I go to bed (or 4 hours after his last feeding...sometime between 9-10pm). He goes to about 5-6am before feeding again.

DS does a similar thing where sometimes he will pass out around 7 when last feeding was 4 or 5, which is too early for me too. I just put him to bed at 7 regardless & dreamfeed when I need to. Early bedtime works for me bc it’s DDs bedtime so I get a few hours to myself before bed.

Typically around 7:15/30 she starts getting fussy so I plunk down with her and BF and she’ll usually fall asleep on my lap
2. How old is your LO? 4 months this Friday (so I’m sure this will all change Saturday lol!)
3. How long before bed is the last feeding? I guess I answered that in my first question. I put her to sleep BFing. I still just let her cuddle with me in the evening and bedshare with her, typically she’ll just dream feed overnight then and has been waking up between 6-7am

DS is 12 weeks and his bed time is so much later than I see here, but it's been working for us so I'm afraid to change it!
He normally gets a big bottle at 9 and sleeps on DH for 2 hours, then DH brings him up to our room at 11ish. I breastfeed him then and he has been sleeping until 530ish, eats a litle, then back to sleep until 9 or 930. Having a few hours in the morning to get stuff done has been so nice.
Tonight is my first night alone with him since DH is out of town and I just put him down at 10, we will see what happens!

pinkcat with DD, her bedtime wasn’t until 9:30-10 for awhile! I think the main reason DS has such an early bedtime is bc DD already has that routine so he just sort of fell into what we were already doing. Nothing wrong with what you’ve got going!

1) bedtime? She nurses around 7:30 and either sleeps in my arms or in the swing until 9:30. I wake her, do diaper and swaddle. Nurse her and she’s in the crib usually sleeping until 5:30-6:30. she doesn’t go back down though. She nurses and is up for the day.
2) how old? Almost 15 weeks.
3) I nurse to sleep. I usually do this with my babies for a while. Both boys naturally stopped this around almost a year. It doesn’t bother me but with my boys they take a bottle before bed instead later on when we were out at bedtime or gone overnight.
I love when their bedtime gets early and I’m off the clock by 7:30! Too nervous to risk that just yet.

1. Does baby have a fairly consistent bed time (within say 30 minutes). If so what time is bed time? No, but the pass couple of days he’s been to bed earlier than normal. Fx we are establishing a bedtime.
2. How old is your LO? Adjusted age he’s 3.75 months
3. How long before bed is the last feeding? I nurse to sleep.

I feel like with DS we went to bed whenever, and I’d lay in bed half the morning with him if he’d let me haha. We have a lot more established routine since the girls, especially N came around so things more naturally found a regular groove.

1. Yes she’s usually in bed at 7. Occasionally if she takes a long later nap, it’ll be closer to 730. But she usually loses her shit if she’s not in bed at 7. This also works for us because DD1 goes to bed at the same time 🙌🏻
2. She is 3.5m
3. She eats right before bed. Sometimes she falls asleep on the boob, but most of the time I’m putting her down drowsy. And then she doesn’t wake up to eat again until 5-6am

Usually 7:30 or 8
2. How old is your LO? Almost 4 1/2 months
3. How long before bed is the last feeding? She eats around 6:30 then wakes anytime between 11:30-1:30 for a bottle and then is up for the day between 6-7:30

2. How old is your LO? 4 Months (omg!)
3. How long before bed is the last feeding? I try to nurse him to sleep right at bedtime. Sometimes the timing is off and if he recently ate within the hour he will refuse to nurse or he is too tired to eat - so in that case, within and hour of bedtime.

1-No, it is between 7:30-8:30ish depending on last nap. She takes a late nap with me in the Tula. If I try to put her to bed when she's ready for that nap, she loses her mind. But then as soon as she wakes up from it, she's ready to go to sleep in her crib....??? I know she'll drop that last nap, hopefully soon
2-just turned 3 months
3-last feeding is at bedtime, she nurses and then in bed; if she falls asleep nursing I rouse her a bit when I put her down
(DS was so tough, he nursed to sleep FOREVER. I still can't believe that "drowsy but awake" works!)

I think as long as everyone is getting a reasonable amount of sleep you should stick with what is making you happy.

pinkcatI don’t know why I’m thinking about it but have you ever thought about flipping the 9pm bottle and 11 pm nurse? In other words, you nurse him at 9 and put him down. H dream feeds with a bottle when H goes to bed since he goes to bed later? This way you go to bed around 9:30 and sleep until morning.

pinkcat, we're pretty similar. We are all night owls in this family. DD won't go to bed before 9 (she's 4.5 years old) and would honestly stay up until 11 if I let her. DS will sleep from 8 until 11 and then he might be up anywhere from 30 min to 3 hours. I'm trying to get a routine for him but it's incredibly difficult when DH is working on his Masters at night. It's taken me a while but I've gotten over the mom guilt of late bedtimes. My kids are happy and seem to be well rested and that's what matters.

1. Yes, DD2 will go to bed usually between 6-7pm.
2. She is 12 weeks
3. She gets about 6oz and will go to sleep about 30 min after that. I try to keep her up until then so she’s not spitting up in her crib and to make sure she’s nice and drowsy. Otherwise, she has a hard time settling down if she goes down and she’s too awake.

I'm working towards a 7-730 pm bed time for O. She's still struggling with reflux and the past few nights we've had breakthrough reflux when I set her down. I'm hoping we can put her in her crib at 3mo but that's looking more and more like a non-reality. Maybe we'll have to move the PnP into our room somehow for a week or two to see if she still has that breakthrough reflux on a flat surface.

Thank you dragonflyinn, tiffrobot, and easternshoregirl!! That makes me feel better! If we needed him to wake up earlier for daycare or when we leave I am sure I would be changing things around, but since it's working for now....I don't want to fix what's not broken! Thank you rebeccabunch! That is a good idea...I start work again on Friday so the more sleep I can get the better. Last night he took the bottle at 9:30 and then fell asleep at 10 and didn't even need to eat at 11...so maybe I can start skipping the last feed all together!

1. I usually nurse him to sleep around 7:30pm. We co-sleep. He snuggles with me until the dream feed, which H does.
2. 14 weeks.
3. He gets a dream feed at 11pm before we go to bed.

Anyone else’s baby still waking every 3 hours at night...? Just me..? 😩😭😨 a lot of nights were in this boat. We might get a long stretch from 8:30-1 but then it’s every 3 hours. When he was sleeping in the bouncer he’d sleep almost all night but now that he’s blin the mini crib he’s been doing this for the last month or so.
