cornflakegirl 4 hours of pushing!! You deserve an award for that. I pushed for 3 and was exhausted. It was 3 minutes between when I got DD's head out and the rest of her body. She was 8lbs 10 oz. So the doc said I might want to consider a CS for this one if she seems to be bigger too It wouldn't have been as bad if the epidural actually worked.

My mood isn't good this week. DH is driving me nuts and I'm not sure if my annoyance is totally rational. I can't seem to do anything alone for more than a minute without hearing DS scream about something or another. DS was happily playing with a pair of shoes this morning trying to put them on at the table. DH takes them away and he screams. He gives them back and then takes them away a second time so more crying. Dude, pick your battles. He's not hurting anything and he's happy. I have PT Friday morning, which we ended up both taking off. DS is going to daycare so we can work on the house during the day and the in-laws will be here sometime in the afternoon. Daycare is 20 miles away. Since I have PT, I asked DH to take DS to daycare. It turned into this big thing about how he's not going to have time to get anything done on the house. I'm so sorry I asked for you to take an hour out of your day to help me out when I do drop off and pick up nine times out of ten and I'm the default parent. I think I need some alone time. ??? This absolutely warrants some alone time! Maybe schedule a pedicure or manicure?

Torn between getting a maternity/family shoot or waiting and doing a newborn/family shoot. I think I'm leaning towards the newborn, since we have professional pics as a family of 3 from when DD was 1, but I never got maternity pics done. I think I have 2 pictures of me pregnant with DD that aren't selfies. But I think I'd rather get pics with everyone after the baby comes. Gah. So expensive. We're doing the newborn pics. We did those with DS as well as the 1yr. I've thought about doing maternity but I'm seriously running out of places for photos in this houseπ

Getting our new A/C installed today and I am really regretting not taking our dogs to doggie day care for the day! I thought they'd be fine just chilling in their crates since they tend to bark when people first come in but then settle down fairly quickly, especially when crated. But not today apparently. Every noise they hear sets off a barking marathon. On the bright side, I'll be happy to have A/C again after nearly a week! It's supposed to hit 90 degrees this weekend, so this was perfect timing!

The company doing the install set us up with a window unit for our bedroom last week, so we've been able to get by pretty well! Our living room ceiling fan also kept things very cool, so that's helped too. As long as we were in the living room or bedroom, we stayed cool. But yes, I will be so happy to have A/C back! Hopefully they're finishing up soon!

The most vivid memory I have of delivery is that sensation of relief after her head finally came out, and her shoulders slid out like weeeee. It was incredible.

I cleaned all morning and then had an ob appointment. My BP was actually good for once. I am measuring at 34 weeks. My doc said if it's still that far ahead next appt we'll do an ultrasound to check baby's size.
Baby is head down though, with its butt wedged up by my ribs and poking out. My belly was sticking out so far at the top and the nurse thought she felt the head, but nope it was the butt. Lol
I passed the GTT, thank God.

I just made guacamole, sauteed shrimp, and zoodles for lunch and I may never eat anything besides that and the egg salad i had yesterday ever again. I'm so glad avocados are cheap where I live, otherwise this could get expensive lol.

I'm trying to decide between hot roast beef sandwiches or BLTs for dinner. Roast beef would be less work, but BLTs sound so good.

I'm draped on the sofa sipping water and pretending it's a vodka soda. I swept and mopped the kitchen and laundry room after work and grocery shopping, plus cooked. So I'm done for the day. Too bad I need to do more sweeping and mopping tomorrow and clean the bathrooms. π¬

I pushed for like 10 or 15 minutes and that was plenty for me. If it helps I had an hour of stitching after my first and a βsulcus tearβ.

We ended up having roast beef with a ceasar pasta salad. It was good.
What is a good side for BLTs? I don't even like bacon, so this is not a normal dinner in our house. Would roasted zucchini with parmesan be weird? Maybe just chips?

I pushed for an hour with DD. Had to have an episiotomy and the vacuum.
I pushed maybe 3 minutes with DS. I had a bad tear, can't remember if it was 2nd or 3rd degree.

It felt like forever. And then, he got himself stuck so I had to have a c section anyway. The no pushing part is the thing I'm most looking forward to with having a scheduled c section this time.

Your push stories kinda freak me out. Pushing was the easiest part for me. I pushed through two contractions and done. Iβm did tear but was never told the degree. I did labor for 22 hours before I could push though, so Iβm pretty sure a 4 hour push would have killed me.

I need to go to the grocery store today because we are out of food for the weekend but I can not decide what to cook. Aside from that, we are home today after the Childrenβs Museum yesterday. It was a great day but Iβm worn out now! π. My stamina is quickly going down hill!
All these pushing stories are freaking me out too! I was super lucky with dd and did not have to push but for about 5 mins so Iβm not sure I can survive several hours! π

I pushed for less than an hour and didn't tear at all. I'm hoping for the same.

Pushing for hours has me about to faint. Can I request that this baby stay butt down and get a C-section π. Slightly joking but also not.
